OK, since John stops by from time to time, maybe we can get him to talk.
Ask him a question....he may answer it! (And please refrain from the questions of "will you marry me?" etc....I honestly would like to see some "professional" questions.)

Hello John, are you going to come to Europe for a solo gig at some point? I'd absolutely love to attend I can't get your songs out of my head (and I don't want to either)... Where do you get the inspiration for them? They are all genious and very moving When is your birthday? That's not entirely professional, I know... but in case someone of us somehow sees you on that day and doesnt know it's your birthday... x

I think I bothered you enough already asking you when you will make it to european mainland for a solo gig.... lol... so will leave that question to others Asking you for cold coffee I did a number of times already as well as asking for uploads, so won't go that way either... hmmm professional, not too personal... that's gonna be difficult, for as far as I can tell, your music is all personal and my curiousity goes beyond the state of facts-questions... so if my questions are over the edge, just say so where does your inspiration come from, how do you pick the red lines in your music? how do you start creating your songs? is it music first, lyrics later or the other way around? when you write lyrics, what comes first? do you write straight from the heart, but adjust later? do you adjust at all? does your mind travel or wander off while writing music/lyrics? uhm.. yeah... totally different question... how did you ever get to play bass for Rammstein??? not like I don't have any other questions, but will first see if you read/answer these at all... *blush*

loraline, great questions, that's exactly what I would like to know as well!!! Songwriting process, inspiration and the oh so interesting Rammstein thing (btw, the voice of the singer, Till Lindemann, scares me somehow, not quite so soothing)...

Hope you don't mind John, my classroom fish (who is a zebra fish) is named "Johnny G"...so I have a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds running up to me "Can I feed Johnny GEEEEEEEEE" every 10 mins. Cracks me up! Feel better, get back to us when you can...I am sure we will still be here!
