Oh wait.........since we're in this thread................guess we had better have a drink to Kati's successful presentation! Is everyone ok with vodka and orange juice, otherwise known as Screwdrivers?! Was my drink of choice for many years until I discovered Baileys. I'm in on that one! Devlin, you are just a girl after my own heart... Screwdrivers were my drink of choice for years... Until I discovered gin and tonic!

@ Kati and Devlin, Back to Ireland again... I missed the Book of Kells... My time in Dublin was spent trying to find Temle Bar in hopes that Bono might be there... LOL! Typical American I am! Seriously though, I thought Ireland was one of the prettiest places that I have seen. The countryside really was as green as they say. I've been to Waterford and Cork... I did the tour of the Waterford plant... Amazing! I heard that they are closing it down... I hope thast isn't true...

@ missalabama: I've never seen the Book of Kells either... back in my days as an au pair I spent my money on everything except cultural things and nowadays you have to pay something around ten euro The entry to the Guinness Storehouse is around ten euros too so you have to prioritise there ;D Well maybe someday... in the far far very far future... when I'll have loads of money I'll be willing to pay ten euros to be able to look at a book... nah it's probably really interesting lol @ you... Did you at least manage to find Temple Bar? Was he there? That's so funny

missalabama: I've never tried gin and tonic! That'll be next on my list! It sounds so grown up ;D nikalefthander: Yes, you guys are brilliant over there, vodka is only one of your nations great inventions, And I thank you kindly ;D. Any vodka based drinks are agreeable to my system! I don't get hangovers or sick, ever on vodka! Kati: I forgot to mention.............nice avatar! Apparently I missed quite a few wonderful things over there. Guess I'll have to go back again someday! When I was there, it was still a reasonably priced place to visit. I've heard it's changed a lot since I've been there! I don't remember paying anything to see the Book of Kells! I remember only having $200 spending money for the entire 2 weeks and I didn't really need any more than that! Of course my food and hotel were covered already, But I shopped and went on a bus day tour or two as well! I hear it's an expensive place to live now because so many people are emigrating there that housing and food are sky high!

I neither drink nor smoke which is probably the best thing to do especially at your age I don't smoke either, never have... thank God! There's a lot to drink to recently... Reason of the day: new album all mastered and well along on its way into the world. Hopefully no delay as far as departures go... Cheers! ;D If the drinking goes on like that I will develop a drinking problem... Nevermind... cheers to the mastering of departures ;D ;D ;D @ devlin: you can't remember paying anything for the Book of Kells AND you were okay with $200 - that is definitely NOT the Ireland of today... With $200 I'd surivive for like... lets say... a long weekend ;D honestly... I usually fly over to Dublin with at least 200 to 300 € (hostel not included) for a long weekend... so it really is an expensive place to be but SO beautiful... can't really decide which city is more expensive: London or Dublin!? In London for example you have the tube and in general a good working public transport system (in my eyes) ... Dublin on the other hand... well, let me show you a postcard - my favourite: SO TRUE! And if you finally manage to catch a bus you'll even have to pay for them...

Cheers! ;D Cheers on that!!!!! ;D But.. Can I have a lime blossom tea, a valerian tea, or something to stop me shouting, moving, jumping, dancing and sing??? Tonight I have the flight to London, and tomorrow London-Newcastle, and then... The TT-tour begins! I wish I have enough time to go to London to "borrow" some just mastered CD... And I don't know yet where I'll be next weekend, to go or not to go to Copenhagen, this is the question....

Kati: Yep, it was a long time ago when I was 18 . But as I said, my food and lodging were paid already and my dad was a pilot so travel was free! Those are always the biggest expenses. I love the post card you posted, it's really funny! Lucy: Good point! We haven't had a drink to Johns' newly mastered CD!! What a terrible oversight! Drinks all around!! ;D
