I am soooooo mad at the people who voted in the semi-final of our Ukraine’s got talent!!!! There was a boy I know (from my school). At first he sang just a few lines in the performance with other children, but the judges didn’t like it and advised him going to another city and have his own performance. This time they liked him and made a exception to the rules. Just have a look: www.youtube.com/watch?v=piPVEmHP3yY sorry. i just had to tell someone about it...

Oh I didn't know that even children can participate in that kind of talent shows or is 'Ukraine's got talent' a show especially for children? Otherwise I find it a bit worrying to have a child competing against grown-ups.
He's kinda cute, though. Do you like him, nika?

‘Ukraine’s got talent’ is the analogue of ‘Britain’s got talent’. No matter how old you are. Last week there were 2 dancers: a 6-year old girl and a 7-year old boy, and they were chosen to the final. But this time people voted for a parodist… not for him… Jade, ;D he just studies in my school, in the 6th form… but the matter is that I think he is talented and deserves to be in the final…the whole school voted for him…. Anyway we cannot change anything… I’m sure he will have great future unless his voice changes… anyway well done!

Kati: Yep, it was a long time ago when I was 18 . But as I said, my food and lodging were paid already and my dad was a pilot so travel was free! Those are always the biggest expenses. might be a long time ago BUT at least it was cheap back then I'm jealous about the fact that your dad is/was a pilot... but you're right, flight and accomodation are the biggest expenses even though I'm pretty good at spending my money everywhere I can (books, clothes, Smoothies, CDs, ...) My presentation today went really well actually... so I'd say drinks on me again BUT I think I go for coffee instead... Of course I couldn't stop listening to Johns songs last night... which really didn't help in preparing that presentation... quite the contrary... I was up till 3:30 and had to get up at 6 *lol* SO TIRED NOW...

Glad your presentation went well! So you were able to concentrate during the presentation? I guess I could not have concentrated as I would have had the songs in mind all the time.

Yes I somehow managed to concentrate... which wasn't easy 'cause there was something going on on the campus... some freaky hip hop guy... don't know... was weird... but you're right, I was dying to get home to be able to listen to songs again and again and again and ...

A ROUND OF GOOD OLE JACK AND COKE IN HONOR OF OUR MAIN MAN...JOHNNY!!! THANKS FOR LETTING US ENJOY AND TREASURE YOUR BABIES AS YOU DO!!! ;D ;D ;D So, it looks like y'all have been having a party here without me! I've only been gone for 4 days and this place is hopping! I will join y'all in the drinks in honor of our boy, John, and his amazing new babies but I can't do Jack and coke. I haven't had a Jack and Coke since the first time I ever had a drink. I was 18 and learned the hard way that football games, bad set-up dates, forgetting sunglasses and sunscreen, 110 degree weather and Jack and Coke don't mix very well... Blitzed, sunburned and with a date who was flirting with one of my sorrority sisters, I lost count at about 7 Jack and Cokes and walked back to my dorm by myself and in tears at half-time... Woke up the next day on the floor beside my bed in my dress from the day before with maskara all over my face... Even after 17 years, the smell of Jack still makes me a little nauseated. LOL! Anyway, enough about me... I LOVE the new babies! Here's to John and "Departures!"

OMG, what a sad story I think that's why I never drink too much... Only in such a special occasions, like the preview of the babies! ;D

Drinks all around as I got my Abitur (leaving exam) results today!! And they're goooood... E+ in maths (that IS good), A- in German and - don't dare to tell as I don't think I'm that good - A+ in English ;D The best thing about it is that I don't have to take a further oral exam, which some have to do next week, so I can enjoy the weekend!!
