Good idea... Well, I got my Abitur certificate today... it was a kind of posh event, and everyone got to give speeches on how special everyone of us is.. blabla. Glad it's over! We also got an Abitur magazine that looked back on the last two years and in which a short profile of everyone appeared. And I discovered that for hobbies, I also mentioned "stalking John Garrison" Isn't it weird that at the last day of at least eight years attending the same school SOMEONE who usually doesn't even know your full name tells you that you are oh so special? That person didn't really care about you for eight years but all of a sudden your special... yeah, I loved that lovely ceremony bla bla bla Once at university nobody really cares about you again... you are one of many... again... that's life Ok it's not as bad as I make it sound but sometimes those stupid celebrations annoy me big time .... nevertheless be proud of yourself! I'm glad for you that it's over . lol @ the John Garrison stalking thing ;D edit: btw send you a pm via MySpace just in case you didn't see it just yet.

Congratulations on your graduation! Cheers to you, Gray! So what now??? No pressure or anything!
Even though I drank my weight in Mojitos this weekend, I willl have some more rum in honor of Kerpea and her Jamaica trip, of which I'm jealous... My Miami weekend definitley pales in comparison to a week in Jamaica! Hope you're having fun!

Miami.... Jamaica... I bet Miami is still more glamourous than any place I have been within the last month *lol* I lived in Miami for 5 years, so was more like going home and friends rather than a glamorous vacation for me... Though I do have to celebrity sighting stories from when I lived there... one time, I saw Lenny Kravitz and whatever model he was dating at the time strolling down Lincoln Road and stopping for sushi at Samba Sushi Restaurant. Lenny is even more gorgeous in person than on film! Once, I saw Giselle Bundschen in a shoe store in Lincoln Road mall. She bought some great boots. Seeing Giselle was rather depressing! She had on no make-up, a t-shirt and jeans and she looked as if she could have been on the cover of Vogue! She really is that beautiful! I have never felt so short or unpretty in my life as when I was in the same room as Giselle.... LOL!

Loved your celebrity sighting stories. I've been to Miami only once and can't say that I spotted anyone famous. A lot of action though, which was great, nice beaches as well.

Hey, seems you've been getting around quite a little bit in your life, cool! That's what I was thinking, too Still, going home and seeing friends in Miama sounds glamourous to me ;D but probably because I've never been anywhere near the US *lol* lol @ your celeb stories ;D especially the Giselle one... If it makes you feel better: I think you weren't the only one feeling unpretty and short when spotting her... We'd all be feeling like that... at least I would *lol*

A lot of action though, which was great, nice beaches as well. Yes, I love to travel! I think I was an explorer in a past life... Maybe Vasco da Gama... LOL! I have been very blessed to get to do a good bit of travel in my life... The best for me where my college studies when I really lived in a place for a while and actually felt the real vibe of the cities rather than the touristy stuff! I have never been to South America, Australia, Asia or Africa so there is a LOT still on my to do list! I'm glad you liked Miami. I love it! Miami is very hopping in terms of the club scene. I love the poolside hotel bars like The Delano, The Sagamore and The Shore Club the best.... They have done fabulous jobs restoring those old art deco hotels of the 30s. The beaches are nice too... Though if you ever get a chance to go to the Keys, they are amazing! Northern Florida also has very pretty beaches in the gulf of Mexico. The sand is so white and soft there. For me, Europe is so much more glamorous and sophisticated that the US! The US is so new... You guys have all of the great old buildings and so many different languages and cultural differences. Glad you liked the celebrity sighting stories... The Giselle one is my favorite too. I really wanted those shoes she bought but more than that I wondered what it would be like to be that gorgeous for just one day...

Oh, I've been to the Keys and I agree, missalabama, they're well worth a visit. Apart from staying at a dodgy Motel (Seaward Motel/Marathon I think) that was a bit "Psycho", I really liked it there. Still have tons of pictures of the bridges (somehow I have a thing about bridges) and many pictures taken in Key West, where they have some beautiful old houses (including Hemmingway's house), don't you think? Actually we were staying at the Gulf of Mexico for the better part of our holidays, Sanibel Island, which I think is one of the most beautiful, calm places on Earth. Again, beaches were really nice, white and soft sand indeed, and surprisingly not crowded at all. Many birds though, those that can fly . I think things must always seem more glamorous in the place where one is not... For me, Europe is so much more glamorous and sophisticated that the US! The US is so new... You guys have all of the great old buildings and so many different languages and cultural differences. You might have a point here. It's probably that "The grass is always greener over there" kind of thing, and that's why I, being from Europe, love travelling the U.S. or Asia (Africa not so much). Never been to South America or Australia though. One day! Since you were speaking of great, old buildings in European cities, I've been to Vienna/Austria in May this year, never been there before. It truly is a beautiful city, much nicer than I had expected, stunning architecture!! Have you ever been to Vienna?

I think that the dodgy motel must have been invented in Florida! There are quite a lot of them in Florida. Glad you survived! That's great that you love the bridges. I too love bridges. I did a studio on bridges in school! My class went to Bahia Honda Key and did documentation drawings of Henry Flagler's original Railway Bridge that was the first one to go all the way to Key West. It was a lot of fun and our drawings turned out well. Yes, those old Key West houses are just beautiful! And Hemingway's house... Have you ever seen so many ferile cats in one place? LOL! I have never been to Sanibel Island but have always wanted to go. Sounds lovely! Yes, those Florida birds are crazy! They can really fly! You might have a point here. It's probably that "The grass is always greener over there" kind of thing, and that's why I, being from Europe, love travelling the U.S. or Asia (Africa not so much). It truly is a beautiful city, much nicer than I had expected, stunning architecture!! Have you ever been to Vienna? Yes, I am also a bit unsure of Africa but I have always wanted to go to South Africa to see the Dutch architecture there. Also, Morocco and Egypt I would love to see. The rest seems a bit scary and very sad because of such poverty and war! Yes, I have been to Vienna once when I was 16. I thought it was just lovely and I would love to go back. The building of the Lipizzanner horses is beautiful. I saw a performance of them. It was amazing! They have a great art museum there too!

That's it... and as I've never been anywhere near Florida every place that is sooooo far away is glamourous and exciting... at least more than the usual places I see... But the two of you talking about the beauty of Florida made me wanny go there, too. Though I will have to finish studying first and earn proper money... can't wait for that to happen ;D
