Rome was great! Seeing all the sights was lovely - Spanish steps, Forum Romanum, Colosseum, Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Pompeii - all the things we only knew from Latin lessons ^^ I will upload some pictures later… I didn’t get much sleep though and this night hike didn’t help… our teacher didn’t really know where to go so we went up the one bloody hill three times argh. My feet were hurting so much… I had “Testimony” in my head when we got back in the morning.
And I sooo miss the ice cream!! That was delicious… we had to treat ourselves as the food in this Country Club thingy where we stayed was horrible and not enough!

oh boy.. guess I was lucky I had a teacher who had been to Rome often Tho we did walk around jfor hours, at least he knew where we were going ;D And I would love to see your pics, especially those of Pompeii, we went to Ostia which is close to Rome, where you could visit the remains of the village and market. can't find my pics that fast, but here you can get the idea of what that place looks like... www.ostia-antica.org/

We actually stayed in Ostia, but didn't visit anything there... I think it was planned but then cancelled as we already had to visit so many sights. Some pics on myspace, too tired and lazy to add captions now though... www.myspace.com/gray_90
