Thanks again to all of you for making me feel so welcome here!! It's nice to feel accepted already! @ kerpea30: I was excited to see a geographical neighbor here! I am from near Kansas City! I was going to try to get tickets to U2 there in Oklahoma City but have decided I can't afford the travel expences. I'm still hoping they announce a show in KC for 2010. Will you be lucky enough to go, or are you not interested in them?

It's going to be at the OU football stadium. I'm sure being from KC you know what crazy football fanatics there are in these parts...they scheduled the concert the weekend of the BIG OU vs. Texas game...which is always played at The Cotton Bowl in Dallas! I drive through KC all the time...I am actually from Illinois and we go through there on our way back to visit. We stop somewhere on the south side...I think Olathe...to eat Chipotle's for lunch. We stopped by the Nascar track once too...just for fun. I am VERY excited to see another boardie from the US...I was beginning to feel like I was his only US fan here...LOL!

You are so lucky! I logged on to the Chicago presale just to see how much tickets were going for. I don't know if they will be the same for OC, but I assume so. You can get floor tickets for only $55. I thought that was ok, and nosebleed seats for $35. But all other sections were divided into $90 and $250 each. I can't remember what private boxes were. It was a very vaigue process, they don't specify where the dividing price line is and you sust put in the price you're willing to pay , then they tell you where seats are available. I sure miss the days of general admission when everyone pays the same!
Yes Olatha is the south side of KC, I live on the north side kinda close to the airport! One of my best friends in college was from Rockford Ill. One time a bunch of us went to her house for long weekend and she showed us all around Chicago, and we went to Libertyville to the saddleshop! It was a great time! There are so many fun things to do there!

Hi there I'm Kati from Germany. I live in Erfurt during the week (Monday & Thuesday - incredibly long, I know), where I study special education (Sonder- und Integrationspädagogik in german). In the future I like to work with children and youth who are disturbed and/or mentally disordered. I spend my weekends (Wednesday to Sunday - lovely I know ) in my hometown Chemnitz where I'm looking for an internship at the moment because a 5-day weekend can become quite boring especially for the energetic person that I am. I always hated commuting between Erfurt and Chemnitz (a 90 minutes drive - if I'm lucky) but since a few months and especially since owning Johns "Above the Cosmos" time flies. I just really love his music, his voice, the lyrics... basically everything about him and his music. Glad to finally meet some people who share my love
