Oooh! Good question, Lucy! I am ashamed to admit that I did like 90210 but when D's Creek came out, I loved it so much more... Though I always had a hard time believing that 15 year olds actually spoke with the vocabulary that they used on that show... LOL!

So we silly Americans have totally different names for those... In the states, we call a Semi-detached House a "duplex" and a terraced house a "townhouse" or "row House." As an all or nothing kind of gal, I prefer a townhouse... No "Semi by the sea" for me! LOL! Semis are not a big thing in the states. Most people live in either apartments or single family suburban houses. You really only see townhouses in the big cities like NYC and Chicago and duplexes are pretty rare.

Yellow roses....bad luck? Never heard of that! They're supposed to represent friendship instead of love(red roses). But I prefer yellow ones too, no mater what they represent! ;D

I really like pears, but I eat more apples because pears go bad so much faster than apples! I would like to plant a pear tree though, I'm just figuring out which would be the right variety for my climate!
