Hi John, I will try to keep it concise though we all know that's not my strong suit! Since it's the new year, I just wanted to send you belated Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Birthday, and Congratulations to you and Pernille on the newest Garrison baby-to-be wishes! Most of all, thank you for your beautiful music that touches my heart and speaks to my soul like no other... OK REALLY CHEESY, I know! SORRY! Also, thank you for the board and sorry for my long-winded nuttiness on here! I love chatting with the gals and theafroshane and I hope to get to hang out with the boardies at one of your gigs someday! I truly enjoyed your gigs in NYC and Boston. Thank you again for taking the time to chat and for the pic! Your music made my 2009 a GREAT year! Thank you! Missy XOXO

Hi John, It's back to normal in my world, still happy though after the eventful 3 days in London and Coventry and seeing you perform twice. I thought you were brilliant in Coventry and that it was a great, great gig. Very intimate, despite the lights that were a bit too bright and the temperature that was a bit too low. Quoting Bono here: "A song can change the temperature in a room" - and yours definately did dramatically for the warmer. Any more cosy (think the Regal Room in London) and intimate, and it would be called something else. And maybe considered a sin . Your music truly connects with people and I'm sure I wasn't the only one that felt 'so close to you'. Nice that everyone listened without making a sound until the end of each song, that's how it should be. It was all so good, I can't even pick a highlight. Though I loved to hear your rendition of "The Power Of Love" particularly. As for the Hoxton gig, it's funny how every show turns out to be completely different. To be honest, I wouldn't have been in your shoes there, having to perform right after that slightly strange Shuffle-band. Maybe it was just me, but I thought the crowd and the vibe felt totally wrong for your music. But hey, I should have known there's no need to worry - You're cool, talented and professional, so, you did your thing and you did it well (maybe trying a little harder than usual to emotionally 'get to that place' where the doors are open and to let the music tell you what's going on). There was so much noise and action in the room that it was quite difficult not to get sidetracked, still those that really listened (like me, of course) loved it I'm sure. Thanks also for the interview recorded at Esquires. Nice to get the answers to some questions I would have loved to ask you in person but was too shy to do so. I didn't even tell you how much I loved the show and your music in general, so I'm doing now... but then again, I've a feeling that you may already know... Music communicates where language alone cannot Love always, Jade XOXO

Hello John
I just wanted to drop you a line...I read your significant other's blog on Smallwalk yesterday and she had her list of items to bring to the hospital and asked if she was forgetting anything...since I don't know her I didn't want to intrude on her blog but I thought that I might add one thing to her list of hospital necessities...
LOT'S OF KISSES!!! You'll need lot's and lot's of tiny little sweet kisses for that amazing new little life you two created! ;D
Congratulations in advance! And good luck to you both! ;D ;D ;D
Much Love
Keri

Hey Missy, don't 4get 2 ask for The signed SONG-SHEET and or John's signed guitar pick???If John has not got 1 with Him, just make sure that U take a clean piece of paper where He could scribble the songs down and I'm sure He'll sign it for it 2!!! By the way, the more the merrier we say. Let me help U with counting the days down, Th, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon & TUESDAY!!!!!It's NO DOUBT YOU'LL HAVE A WHALE OF A TIME WITH DADDY JOHN. Hey Napsi, THANKS! Good thought about the pic and the list... I will try to get them. Then again, I may come out with nothing because I'm shy and I'm a total spaz every time I am around John... HEHEEH! Poor guy, having to deal with silly groupies such as myself! P.S. NOTE TO SELF: CELL PHONES OFF! ;D 127 hours and counting... Or something like that, anyway... I'm no Rainman... Woop Woop!
