"Once Around The Block" sounds even sweeter the 2nd time around... Bittersweet if you ask me. This song is so beautifully orchestrated, and the vocals are just stunning. It's always his voice that gets me, a voice just as gorgeous as the man himself. The song really moves me because it's such a heartfelt and touching reflection on the crushing fear of being alone. And again, there's so much sadness in every word and every note. All the best songs are sad. I've tried happy and they just don't work. For me anyway I'm still a miserable, heartbroken annoying artist I can't help but admire an artist who is able to convey emotion that way with sound and to capture that particular feeling of the moment like it's done in this song. "It hurts so good"... he should never try happy.

Go ... OMG, I think I'm going to cry ... I couldn't expect something so beautiful ... Rendez-vous ... So Close ... Footprints ... all amazing ! MERCI BEAUCOUP JOHN I don't "think I am going to cry," I have have been crying for the last 2 days and I never have a Kleenex when I need one! Note to self: no maskara at a John Garrison concert... It will all be all over the face after the first song. These songs are so beautiful; words fail to describe!! I just LOVE them! That's all I can say! Thank You, Gracias, Merci Beaucoup, Danke, John!

I'm convinced, if this song was released as a single, it would have more than a fighting chance to become a hit and get considerable airplay. I think so too, Jade... I wonder what B-Side he could put with that single... At the same time though, I don't know why, but I have the feeling that John might not be into the idea of singles and might prefer the format of an entire album... Like Zeppelin... No singles... Gotta buy the album...

I agree ;D LOL And take lots and lots of cleenex girls. If the show will be acoustic, would be more emotinal I think!

Now that there's a bit of a delay in Departures I wouldn't know what to do without these 8 tracks on MySpace and Facebook.
Hope we'll get the REAL THING real soooooon, though!
