Good work!! As I said before, I'm sure you get more than us. And working with James Blunt, it's a good way to reach to more people. Maybe between James' friends, you get that Jude (a Matchbox Twenty fan too) starts to listening to John's music. When he was making shows in NY, I left messages in Rob Thomas' forum with the info of the shows, and even I made a post about James' new bassist, and even added pics of John in a post called "Hottest guys",lmao! But I think it didn't work anything. Frustrating feelings. I felt without voice. So sorry if I only put something in the blog, I'm a little tired. Now with new energies, yours, we will be able to get something. Now it's your turn, sweeties. When he starts to leave demos about his new album, I'll do "my work":leave a post in Supernovapop.com forum, and in my blog, while it's a song in my blog-player, that's all I can do until that upcoming moment

I got an answer yesterday from a person on myspace (I sent out these messages weeks ago!). So some just haven't read it yet.

It's difficult when you receive a lot of messages, or you are tired of many Friend requests. For example, in my case, I stopped to read bulletins, with a lot of myspace-friends, it's impossible now. It was a nightmare, and I know that I miss many things, but I felt I wasted my time.So now it's a good thing to read your 3 top friends, who have changed their "feelings".When I read "JG has uploaded a new song" or some Status like that, it works for me.

I didn't contact my Myspace friends (cos they already know about him ;D ;D ), just random people who looked like they could like his music

Great job, Flakie and Gray, with all those messages. Fingers crossed that you'll get some more replies. Since you're both at it, contacting the JB friends, I'll be trying the Coldplay friends. In addition to the 'message' thing I'd also like to set up a "John Garrison Support" page on MySpace in order to 'spread the word, sow the seed' via friend requests. It might be a good idea as I think most people who get a friend request visit a page at least once before they are going to approve/deny a request. Hopefully some people would have a further look to see what's 'below the surface' and give his amazing music a listen!!!! But once again I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do so. @john, I know you're an extremely busy boy at the moment (well, actually since the James Blunt World Tour started), but I'd greatly appreciate if you let me know if something like that is alright with you. I know it's absolutely unofficial but anyway, maybe I need to contact your management at first? Or you want me to cancel the whole thing (which I'd completely understand, so no probs)? I would definitely let you know what the page looks like before putting it up and start to send out requests/contact people. THANK YOU!!!!

Good idea Jade!
Well, I doubt that all people visit the sites of musicians which send them a friend request... I sometimes just deny the request without having a look at their page first. However, I do quite often have a look when they write a message that comes with the request. And as Flakie already mentioned, to make the whole thing seem like a "personal message", for example adding the name of the person which is requested, might attract people's attention more than a normal request would.

It's great that you are going to think of something else we could do, I'm really looking forward to what you'll be coming up with!! Good idea Jade! Well, I doubt that all people visit the sites of musicians which send them a friend request... I sometimes just deny the request without having a look at their page first. Gray, thank you for your advice. I'm totally with you, making a request look a bit more personal sure does attract more attention. Well, I for one am just too curious. Every time I would get a request from a band/musician I'd visit the page and have a listen and mainly approve, unless the content of the site is plain rude or it's not at all my taste in music. Because of such requests I've come across some pretty amazing artists I would have never known about otherwise. I believe that sending out friend requests can be very helpful to spread the word as you can even send a thanks-comment to those who approved, linking to the artists official web-site again. Flakie, thank you for your kind offer. In case it's going to happen, any kind of help would be very much appreciated. Let's hope dear John doesn't feel a little 'overprotected' by now!!

What do you think of our Myspace group (if you saw it), we are telling people about it at the moment, but I thought I'd ask you whether there's anything that should be changed? Thank you so much! x 3. I think it's great and I'm very grateful. It looks just fine as it is. We could use a few new members though I reckon you heard it... we need more members!! Please tell everyone about the group!! groups.myspace.com/garrisonblues

yay five new members since yesterday xx That's great news, flakie!!! @noodle, I don't know why PM doesn't work for you. If you click on the right icon below the avatar, it should appear the mask (?) for PM, my username is actually caroline (which is my middle name). I got your e-mail though, thank you very much for that. I really like your idea, will e-mail you back asap. J. xx Hmm, in real life 'Silence means consent' - I'm afraid that doesn't go for cyberworld...
