When I am playing for other people it is just a really really great job. But the doors are firmly closed...!! Despite the doors that might have been firmly closed, I think he did a really really great job! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eA7edDK-Vrc&feature=relatedAnother show with Miss Imbruglia in London tonight, and a festival appearance on Saturday and Sunday I believe - someone's quite busy these days... but hey, what's new...

Thanks for posting, Jade! Yes, Job well done, John! Yeah for John being busy! Hope he is busy soon with a tour for Departures!!!
LOL because this song reminds me of my college boyfriend. He had a thing for Natalie Imbruglia. I think he must have watched the "Torn" video about a million times. He would be jealous of John for getting to play with her.

Thanks for the links, awesome, oh my... The music of this girl were always in my teenager years as a soundtrack, Torn specially. I've been watching and discovering another videos she made, I didn't know she filmed one in Barcelona (like Clock Face! LOL), and I'm hooked on Counting Down The Days video, worth to watch it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWsY1X_F5Lklyrics: www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/natalieimbruglia/countingdownthedays.htmlokay, it could seem so girlie video, so pretty love story kind and all that romantic stuff but it's the mood I'm in and I love when videoclips are like little films PS: watching the live videos - John has a new haircut?

PS: watching the live videos - John has a new haircut? Yes, I noticed that too! It looks very nice, I think... At least what I can see of it... It's kind of hard to see him in those live vids. Speaking of haircuts, Natalie looks beautiful in the new video with the long hair but I think that the really short hair like in the old "Torn" video suits her best. Btw, her YouTube channel says that she's ony 30. I thought she was my age. She must have been about 17 when "Torn" came out then.

She was born in 1975, she was 22 whe she released Torn. So she should be 34 years old now. (Google said)

Thanks, Jade! ps: Gotta love those trippy, multi-tasking musicians... ;D ROFL! Gotta Love the xylophone! P.S. This is like 6 degrees of Karl Brazil... Or James Blunt... Hmmm... Looks like someone likes Blunty's bassists a lot- (can't disagree with her on that). I wonder if Miss Imbruglia got Blunty's permission to borrow his boys?? I hope he doesn't get jealous and I wonder if this means that there will be an open slot for a bassist on Blunty's next tour... If he ever starts working on that third album that is. Hmm... *Missy is now off to teach herself to play bass*

ROFL! Gotta Love the xylophone! The xylophone really makes the song I think! Another live recording, "Torn", filmed on Saturday at V - Weston Park. Not the best quality, but still worth watching, as it really captures the great atmosphere. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCdxRhH-FegI bet it's an amazing feeling to be playing to such a responsive crowd.
