Yes...I broke my collar bone when I was 17. There were four of us in the cab of a pick-up truck driving down a dark country road drinking some beer (yes we were driving drunk...though I was not the driver) It was December 20th, 1991. It had snowed a few days before and the snow had melted and re-froze in the bitter cold night temps...we came up on a bridge just about the time the second verse of "Hotel California" started...the guy who was driving put his hand on my knee and I smacked it off...this infuriated him so he slammed on the gas pedal and we slid immediately off the bridge into the creek bed below. I remember seeing the darkness as it came toward us and the doctors assume I put my hand on the dashboard to keep from flying through the windshield (we were not wearing seat belts)...the impact threw my arm back into my shoulder...thus breaking my collarbone....amungst other things.
Have you ever rubbed instant tanning lotion all over your body and it turned your skin orange with big long streaks all over?

Ouch!!
Yes!! The National Veterinary Tech Board Exams!! I thought I'd failed for sure!! It cost $200 dollars each time and it's only offered twice a year, so I would have had to wait 6 monthes to retake!
Have you ever seen someone you knew when you were out shopping and pretended you didn't notice them?

Ok, I think everybody here likes ghosts stories, uh? Not seen in fact but it's something strange when you hear something in the other part of the house and your dog goes, sits and look at the darkness of your long corridor. Have you ever felt cold without a reason? And not because you were ill, I mean

Have you ever volunteered at a hospital?

I've never volunteered, but my husband worked in a hospital in Vegas before we were married (and told me all the horrific stories) and I worked in an animal hospital for 13 years. When my son was born, we had to spend alot of time at Childrens Mercy Hospital and I saw some very sad cases while there. I'm sure I am not strong enough to volunteer there (maintaining composure is not my strong point. I cry easily!!) I have always wanted to volunteer at the veterans hospital though, but I don't know what they would need me to do. Have you ever?
Have you ever given (or received) the "Evil Eye"??

Yes..I have volunteered many times at nursing homes and hospitals. Some times I'd deliver flowers or food...and other times I'd just sit and talk to the old folks and they would tell me stories about WWII or JFK...really quite a rewarding experience and they really appreciate just having somebody listen and treat them like they are just normal folks. You have to watch out for those old men though...they LOVE to flirt (which I love to flirt back...just for fun, of course) and tell dirty jokes...I just love all of them and really enjoy the fact that I made somebody smile.
And...yes I give many people the evil eye everyday...I am quite a witch with a "B"...LOL!
Have you ever ridden a roller coaster?

Wow, that sounds like an amazing thing to be involved in! How do you get started? Do you just call them up and ask if they need any volunteers? I LOVE talking to the older generation! There used to be a retirement home next to my mom's house and the owners would sometimes bring some of their residents over to visit with my grandmother who was living with my mom at the time. There was one lady who had been a Rockette on Broadway, back in the day, and I also met a guy that was a paratrooper on D-day!!! Imagine surviving THAT and living to tell about it! They were SO interesting to talk to! What a priviledge to have met them!
Yeah, I've ridden all the roller coasters at 'Worlds of Fun' in Kansas City and that weird upsidedown one at AstroWorld in Houston...........I think that's it!!! I always wanted to go on that one at The 'New York New York' in Las Vegas, but no one would go on it with me so I did'nt! How about you?
Have you ever driven or ridden on a snowmobile?

Just call them...they probably wouldn't turn you down. Sometimes you can just walk in and ask too. Especially at th nursing homes. They usually have a game room and you can read to them or call out Bingo numbers...all sorts of things. Yes...I've ridden too many roller coasters to count. Six Flags in St. Louis, Chicago & Dallas...Disney World Orlando, Tokyo Disneyland, Frontier City in OKC (which the Kings Of Leon named a song after )...and some in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have never ridden a snow mobile...which surprises me since I grew up in rural Illinois. Have you ever seen a tornado (in person)? (had to ask...I'm watching TV right now and there is a tornado on the ground just south of OKC...active system today!)
