Yes, many years ago - I quite fancy some now, after seeing that picture -- Have you ever eaten a whole packet of chewy sweets in one mouthful?

LOL... I have never heard of chewy sweets or Japanese sweets... Assuming the chewy sweets are something like gummy bears maybe??? Have no idea what Japanese sweets are!
While we're on the subject of candy, have you ever had Turkish Delight?

rahat lokum? Yes! But it is usually supposed to be dusted with icing sugar, but it’s not very sweet, probably there is much more flour than icing sugar. Let’s change the subject. i am too hungry in order to talk about food Have you ever saved anyone’s life?

Not that I'm aware of: But I'm a big believer in the thought that everything you do and say has a direct effect on those around you: so.................I just try to be as nice................... and profound as possible! ;D
Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you had made a different decision?

All the time!!! I wonder, "What if I had gone to a different college?" "What if I had married my college boyfriend?" "What if I had not pulled the Heisman Trophy block when my best friend, Brad, tried to kiss me?" "What if I had never heard John's music???!!!" The list goes on and on... By the way, I just realized that some of you, Europeans, may not be familiar with the Heisman Trophy block. The Heisman Trophy is the highest honor that they award college football players in the US... The trophy has a guy carrying a football close to his chest in one arm and holding his other arm out as if to block another player...
Have you ever cried because your hairdresser cut your hair way too short and made you look look a boy?

OMG! When I turned 16 I went to a salon and the stylist made me look like a poodle!!!! It was short and poofy on the top and thin and straight on the sides! It was nothing like what I asked for and I cried and cried!! I've been afraid of hairstylists every since!!! Have you ever had an allergic reaction to anything?

OMG!!! LOL! I had a perm in the 80s, so I know what you mean about the poodle! The other day, I got cut very short, even though I only wanted a trim, but mine is nowhere near your hair tragedy. It's not a bad cut just a lot shorter than I wanted. Your story is sad! I'm so sorry!
Yes, I'm allergic to neosporin antibiotic ointment for cuts... Well actually I'm allergic to the petroleum gel that they use because I am not allergic to oral antibiotics... Weird!
My Mom is allergic to bees... She swells up like the Goodyear Blimp when she gets stung and she has to carry an emergency shot with her wherever she goes...
Did anyone on here ever see Budapest live?

Yes, I did twice! Best years of my life I must say. But so many regrets about not attending the first time I know they came to my town, and not attending last concert in Barcelona either.
That reminds something I did for Budapest LOL:
have you ever waited at the door of a venue before a concert for trying to listen the rehearsal?

AW, that's so great that you got to see Budapest!
No but that's a great story, Lucy!!!! Did you hear it or did you get busted?
Have you ever pretended that you didn't like a band or musician that you really did like because it wasn't "cool" to like them?

That reminds something I did for Budapest LOL: have you ever waited at the door of a venue before a concert for trying to listen the rehearsal? Oh Lucy, lucky you! Wish I had known of Budapest back then. Judging by the video footage of e.g. Below The Radar, seeing them live must have been a treat. I can well imagine how you feel about not attending their last gig in Barcelona (I guess at this time you didn't know that this was the last chance to see this band, right?). ************************************************ Same as missalabama, I haven't waited at the doors either. But when I was in Prague in Oct.2008, my hotel was situated right next to the venue and the window of my room was vis-à-vis one of the stage doors. So I heard quite clear when James and the boys did the soundcheck, which was great. Unfortunately, the buses were parked on the other side of the venue. Back to the question: No, even though as for James Blunt, it was not always easy to admit it. I really don't understand why so many people don't like him and why he is being dissed by people who don't know anything about him, and who haven't even heard anything else than "You're Beautiful". Have you ever performed in front of an audience larger than 100 people?

Only in horse shows..........if you consider that "performing"! When I was about 13 I think, I was in the 'American Royal' which is the oldest, continually existing all breed show in North America. It lasts about a month. When I was very young, people would come all the way from South America to compete in it...........but I haven't seen that in many, many years. They demolished the original building about 8 years ago which I think was horrible crime!!! It had two underground levels of stalls that you accessed by massive ramps!! It just doesn't have the same mystic that the original structure had, and now the event is much less awesome. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police used to come and perform and the Budweiser Clydesdales were a staple throughout the month-long event! There were restaurants, and vendors and a little old man and little old lady that sold massive homemade cinnamon rolls that they baked right there out in front every year! But it's all gone, just a plain 'ol horse show now..... . Soooooo.......back from memory lane: Have you ever fed/cared for a baby bird that fell out of its' nest?

I'm doing it right now!! Or should I say, about every 15 minutes or so! I thought it was going to die, but it pulled through and now I'm stuck taking care of it! I'm really surprised that my cat didn't eat it, but she just sits there and stares at it. Not sure what to do with it though.............It'll be another 3-4 weeks before it'll be old enough to fly away...........ugh! Have you ever been to Dubai?
