I'd give up forever to hear the cover you did of "The Power Of Love", originally by Frankie Goes To Hollywood... that's quite a tough one I think, difficult to sing and difficult to perform considering that you did it at an acoustic respectively piano-only gig. Such a beautiful song, definitely one of the strongest and most gorgeous lyrics as far as love-songs go. I'm entirely sure you sounded amazing. Did anyone record or film it at the Rockwood back in Sep. 2007 or at Esperanto Café a few months later??? And if so, any chance of you making it available?

Hey John, you like the Simpsons, don't you? Do you have any fav episodes/scenes? ;D I love your song My Morning Sun, when and in what kind of situation did you write it? Do you think it will be on your next album? Thank you John. It really means a lot to us that you spend your spare time on answering our questions! Thanks!

What female singer you'd like to sing with? tricky question. I prefer male voices really. Don't know why. just always have. I like Alanis morrisette and Cat Power and Rhiana is very sexy but I'm not sure I'd like to sing with them.

Hey John, thanks again for the answers When did you think you wanted to be a musician for the first time? Which was your favourite part of the tour (so far)? Is it really that smelly on the bus? What do you think of our Myspace group (if you saw it), we are telling people about it at the moment, but I thought I'd ask you whether there's anything that should be changed? Thank you so much! x 1. It's all i ever wanted to do as long as I can remember. It was never an option 2. The bus is actually very clean. It has to be when it's lots of peoples homes. I really enjoyed the US bit, China, Japan, and all the golf courses I have been lucky to play all over the world. The Blue Lagoon and midnight Golf in Iceland will take some beating. 3. I think it's great and I'm very grateful. It looks just fine as it is. We could use a few new members though I reckon

OK, I have a question, and am not sure how to word it. Judging by your lyrics, you have had heartache (to put it mildly)...my question is, does writing a song about that heartache help heal the pain, or does it bring that pain back everytime you play that song? My songs are like therapy to me. I use them to make sense of situations and to start the mending process or understand what just happened. All my songs are real experiences. It's a great technique. Everyone should give it a go. Usually they don't bring the pain back as they were written in a moment and i am very aware of that. What I mean is I don't always feel how I did when I wrote the song but it reminds me of how I felt at the time. Some situations require more than one song to figure out and to move on from.

But it's not the first time that I've created "my own story" about a song, and then the story of the song is completely different. ^o^ Don't worry, I always leave me song meanings slightly hidden so as others can pin their own experiences onto them. If I were to say word for word experiences in my life and my life only, they would be very difficult for anyone else to relate to unless you are me !!!

Speaking of drinks, what's your favourite one? Jack Daniels and Coke although it makes me wierd. I like a cheap red wine from south France too. Plus a bloody mary from esperanto in New York on a Sunday morning

John: What music do you listen too? Questions: Do you have a favourite composer?? Do you like opera as well or do you prefer orchestral music (how is it called in English??)??
[ Question: Are all those sad songs autobiographical?? Rachmaninov Not a big opera fan. Just orchestral music Yes all my songs are autobiographical........I've had an interesting ride....!!!! but some single events in my life have had several songs written about them. The big incidents may require more therapy than others

Hey John, What is your Golf handicap, if you have one?? I currently play off 9. In my golfing prime (as in before booze and girls took over my brain) I was off 5 when I was 17.
