And another Question: Is there something going on with "Ongoing" at the moment??? I was going to write a question about Ongoing, but I checked the forum before. Surprisingly, Jade is the only one who wrote about Ongoing, and she made the question some months ago... But no answer? So, I repeat the question: what happenned with Ongoing? Are you still working on it, John? (crossing fingers for an affirmative answer ;D )

I know you will never answer this but I'll leave it here anyway... You have two MySpace pages (3 if you include the old one that you haven't logged into for a year), a guest book on your web page, and a place on the message board for people to say wonderful things about you. My question is...how big is your head getting? And how much time do you spend checking all of them? What amazes me is that people are commenting on all of them...now if that doesn't make you feel special...I don't know what will

A few years ago I was watching an interview of my favorite songwriters…The Bee Gees…this was before Maurice died. And the interviewer asked Maurice out of all of their songs which is his favorite? His reply was “How do you pick…they are like your children…your creation…you can never choose a favorite...you wouldn’t choose a favorite child.”
So my question to you is…Do you feel the same about yours? Can you pick a favorite?

I really think he does... this is what he wrote a few months ago: ;D I don't mind one little bit. They are all my babies and I will always love them. Some may be prettier than others and some may be naughtier, but they are all loved. Thank you to everyone who has brought my rather sorry forum to life. It really means a lot to me that you all are talking about my songs so favorably. It am really touched by it all i promise. Thanks again and please keep coming back Love John ;D ;D ;D

Hi John "Tell us your habits, your facts, your fears, give us your address, your shoe size, your years..." - Aww, we aren't as annoying as that, are we??? It's been a little quiet on your part lately, have you given up on us??? I know, so many questions, so little time - It's just, it was always so special to read your replies. So, as for the radio silence recently, I hope it's something to do with you being so busy rather than feeling intimidated or irritated by our questions. Actually, I've got another question:
Which songs on 'Cosmos' have been recorded at your house and the College of St. Rose respectively??Just to let you know - with or without your replies... we love you anyway!!! Thanks for reading J. xxx

Hi John Just read my post ^^ again and am feeling guilty now. I didn't mean to sound unappreciative in any way as I'm eternally grateful for all the beautiful music you gave us. In addition to that you're keeping us updated with your daily news, wrote this long and lovely newsletter only a couple of weeks ago and answered already so many questions. That's so much more than most any other artist would do for their fans. So instead of begging shamelessly a BIG THANK YOU seems more appropriate. I'm still listening to your songs at least 2 hours each and every day and, as a result, am completely and seriously "johnnyfied" - which is a good thing actually - unless it leads to odd posting as seen above.. Forgiven? Thanxxx for everything! Jacqueline xx

Would you say that 'sad' things are in general more inspiring than 'happy' things? Do you remember the first song you have ever written? What was it about? Who is the biggest diva on the bus? x All the best songs are sad. I've tried happy and they just don't work. For me anyway My 1st song I wrote was when I was 2 and I still remember every note and word. It was called the caterpillar song and it went "down the slide, up the ladder, I'm a caterpillar, down the slide, up the ladder, I'm a butterfly". I was in my garden in Coventry and on the ladder of the slide was a caterpillar and my Mum told me that it would soon turn into a butterfly one day. I thought she meant it would change after it had gone down the slide. We are all diva's

Are you boys eating all your vegetables? Taking your vitamins? Touring must be difficult on your bodies. How do you keep from getting sick? We eat healthy most the time. You have to. Although I am very out of shape and unhealthy at the moment. We do have vitamins and we take them when we remember (not very often) The tour bus is icy cold to try to prevent germs spreading

What is your favourite song you have ever written if you have one and it's not in your vault? What are you doing after the show on the 18th October? I think some of us would like to know... (Dont say hide!) Do you ever have something like a blockade or can you always write? Do you avoid our 'not-so-serious' questions on purpose? ;D And thank you again John, it means so much to us that you are always answering our questions!!! xxx Evade The Pain, Shadow, Clock Face, Questions, Say Something Wonderful I've never had a writers block but am petrified of having one which is why I never stop and have hundreds of songs in back up I avoid the ones that I think are not interesting or that have obvious answers as I don't have much time. Nothing personal
