I'm not carzy either.. Okay maybe a little... But you can see the toys and the candles in the picture at the top of John's new website. ;D Hehe! They are on the ledge above the mixing desk, below the window between the sound booth and the mixing room (if those are the official names of the rooms... I don't know). P.S. ROFL!!! I just watched "The making of 'Departures'" video for the umpteenth time and I just realized that they had the candles going (minute1:20-2:20)... Very romantic, Boys!!! ;D

Oh my.... This isn't supposed to be the topic for asking John questions? ROFL Okay, let's ask something... anything.... *loading question* I've got it: How would you feel if someone tape your songs from MySpace just for own benefit, only for listening?

Oh my.... This isn't supposed to be the topic for asking John questions? ROFL Okay, let's ask something... anything.... ROFL!! SO SORRY, Girlies and John! I do have a tendency to ramble and lead the discussion to weird tangents! Must work on that Sidebar: Anyone have a Tylenol?............ DEVLIN? Real Question here: Are you going to try to do a US or European tour for Departures or just play a small amount of gigs? How would a tour work if you plan to remain indie, as it is usually the labels that pay for the tour, correct? I guess it would depend on how well Departures sells, right? Are you looking to find a major label or do you prefer to remain indie?

Do you know how many copies of Above The Cosmos you sold? Why is so expensive to "make" a tour? Is it because you have to pay a band, the transport of the instruments, or you have to pay to the venues before the show? (No idea at all about touring world works). What's the most expensive thing in doing a tour? No I was working with Gary Barlow on some of his new tracks. He was feeling very creative and I was on the same wavelength that day. One of those good days where everything just works Sorry for being a pain with this but as a Barlow fan I am, as much as yours, I have to ask you more about this: which songs? The ones of his new album, or maybe songs for the series he's producing? How did you meet him? Did you meet the rest of Take That members as well? Imagining two of you working together just makes me so happy that you'll ever know... Would you like the idea of being one of the support artists of Take That? (letting my dreams fly, fly away...) ;D

I am always available to supply Tylenol...............or Motrin, to a friend in need! ;D AW! Thanks! Back at ya, Sista! ;D ;D ;D REAL QUESTION HERE, I PROMISE! Random technical question here: Did Julian use a flash on the Millenium Bridge shot or was there enough light from the bridge? Sorry, I know that's random but photography is one of my hobbies! Hey John, do we Boardies make you laugh? I hope you enjoy reading our posts, as much as I enjoy logging on here! If not, at least I think it would be a fabulous insight into how we gals think. Sidebar: I hope we don't scare Gutbuster away with our girlie talk!

Thanks for the updates regarding your biography, John. Since you're no longer as chatty as you used to be in your "Cosmos" days, posting a long blog almost every week - I thoroughly enjoyed reading everything what was written there about you and the new album. Did your publicist write this? Nice to know that "Departures" CD's arrived at YOUR door two weeks ago, hope I can say the same in a few weeks of time. Why does 'generating buzz' take so long? Will there be a single coming out prior to the album? YOU BET!!!!What was the best piece of advice you ever got about music? And about women? Whom do you most fear you resemble? THANK YOU!

Thanks for the updates regarding your biography, John. Since you're no longer as chatty as you used to be in your "Cosmos" days, posting a long blog almost every week - I thoroughly enjoyed reading everything what was written there about you and the new album. I feel tha same... Though I am newer and don't remember the Cosmos days... I can not name one other musician who answers random, silly, fan questions! I love that he has the time and inclination to do so. It's a very peosonal touch and so nice of him to do. It really makes me laugh and smile that he actually answers my silly questions! ;D ;D ;D I figure it's 'cuz he's a nice, polite Englishman that he does this... I can't picture any American doing so... Probably not even Jason Mraz or Dave Matthews. They would probably be too cool! Don't tell them I said that, btw! I know that's a cliche... Sorry John, I have too much of a thing for Englishmen... I've read too many English novels I guess. Sidebar: Now it just popped into my head that I would love to hear Dave, Mraz and John together on stage playing "The Stone!" What was the best piece of advice you ever got about music? And about women? Whom do you most fear you resemble? Oooh! Karma for you, Jade! Can't wait to hear the answers to these!!!! ;D ;D

Thanks for the link, Jade! I thought older blogs were deleted, as I can't find old blogs on Budapest MySpace, and I think there are some other blogs missing in John MySpace too... I don't know, can't remember very well and maybe "Now I’m twisting all the history, I don’t believe me anymore" I already told him to make a book as well, LOL but no answer about it The only blog I printed was the one before joining James Blunt, oh... I was very happy but a bit sad at the same time while reading it. I knew he would become more well-known, and it was a big opportunity for his career, and of course get soooo many more fans (that's you girls ), but I thought he couldn't write newsletters anymore... Fortunately, I was wrong on that last thing I think I have it still, somewhere between my chaotic papers inside Budapest folder, ROFL!!! ;D (PC still broken - spending my free time in making videos with John music, and some artwork for PC's -desktop wallpapers mainly- with his pictures, ha ha!) I concur and I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you! I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning reading the Travails of John Garrison... HILARIOUS! I almost spilled my drink on myself and I laughed so hard I cried! It was like not being able to put down a really good book even though you are too tired and you need toothpicks to keep your eyelids open! This thing really should be in print! I don't remember what time it was when I finally fell asleep but I can't wait to read the rest of them tonight! I didn't think anyone besides myself could have more random, bizarre, Charlie Brown-esque luck and funny incidents as I do but I think you win. Have you thought about trying to make a book out of this? Haha, Lucita... "More fans. (That's you girls)"... Yes. I'm one of those... I guess you know you're successful when little small-town, Alabma gals are on your message board! O.K., only one but I'm trying to Garrisonize everyone I know! So far, they all just look at me like I'm nuts! ROFLMAO! On behalf of All Americans, I apologize! As someone who once lived in Miami, I do have to laugh and feel sorry for you on this one. Evidently there is a phenomenon in Miami that I like to call "Miami D****E BAG GUY!" They are everywhere in that city! Unavoidable! I am convinced that they must all be overcompensating for physical inadequecies! At least you only had to sit next to that guy on a plane and didn't have any of the worst dates of your life with any of those jokers! HEHEH!!! Totally random question regarding the proper use of the word "gig" here: Is it ok for non-musicians to use the word gig or is that a musician pet peeve? I meant to say that I was going with one of my friends to your concert but accidentally said gig... then before I could retract, my sister and brother-in-law just started teasing the hell out of me. Saying things like, "What are you, a roadie?" And "Are you with the band?" I can't say I blame them, it did sound absolutely ridiculous when I said it. It just came out without my knowing it! Of course, no one knows I'm a boardie... Can't imagine the teasing if they found out that one... AS ALWAYS, Apologies for my ramblings! Missy XOXO
