Before we flood the 'questions for John' thread with our travellings around (perhaps too late already.... lol) I figure we might just post our travelling and with that our concert experiences and wishes in this thread  my latest trip was NY, low budget, 30 to 36 hrs on the road to get there and to get back home, 5 days in the city and 1 great evening of music at Rockwood ;D |

... 30 to 36 hours on the road that's quite a lot... but still worth every minute of the trip I'm sure!!!

besides, sitting in a plane for 5 hrs doesnt make people talk.. sitting in a bus for 10 hrs with a few stops on the road and you talk more with people You get to see more of the surroundings and more strange/funny things happen beats the 2 hour wait at the airport too ;D I book at eurolines, they usually have cheap bus tickets throughout Europe |

yes... 39 euro for a return ticket... ;D
if I remember correctly, the concert ticket was more... lol

lol, loraline... indeed... the ticket was about 40 GBP, wasn't it??? I'll be flying from Berlin to London city airport, 180 €... need to get there as fast as possible as I have only two days off from work...

that is prolly the only thing you need for travelling low budget.. enough time I am leaving for london october 12 and I will go back on october 16, both at evening time, so will arive october 13 early morning, and get back home october 17 early morning so will have the entire monday through thursday evening to walk around London too |

if it wasnt for the boardies meeting up at London again, I wouldnt mind trading places Never been to Vienna before, only thing I saw of Vienna was some industrial area when the bus was passing on the road to Budapest Vienna is said to be beautiful and the Lippizaner stables are renowed for their horses |

if it hadnt been for Wind in the Willows from the JB board, I might not have been going to so many concerts He wasnt able to use his London ticket in january, and I just figured, what the heck and bought his ticket. Ticket and travel arrangements all done within 5 days before the concert |
