that you've never done before? A topic for strange things happening on your way/day Last week, I was on my way home from work, when my moped decided to let the air out of one tyre. So at 7 in the morning, I walked to the repairshop, which was rather closeby. When the shop opened, I left my moped there and went for the busstop. At that time, it was already past 8, there was a woman walking up and down at the stop. When she noticed me, she asked me what time it was. We started talking and she told me, she was going home for she had been staying over for 3 days. Silly me, I wasn't that clearheaded anymore, asked where she had been staying, for we were in an industrial area. Apparently, the only 'residential' building there was the prison for women and she had spent 3 days there doing nothing. I'm not sure her story is 100% true, but it was a remarkable story for that early in the morning She had bought a bike on a dutch internetsite but when the bike appeared to be stolen, she was fined for receiving (dealing stolen goods). Apparently it took the clergy some 18 months to give her that fine and the option to stay in prison for 3 days if she couldnt afford to pay With travel expenses paid for by the court, she chose for prison and a stay with women I am sure I will not see at that busstop in the near future... Our lady of justice has some strange ways in dealing with crimes....

That really is a strange story, loraline. I'm working as a lawyer myself and sometimes I can't quite believe how things turn out in the end. It's a saying "Vor Gericht gibt's kein Recht, da gibt's höchstens ein Urteil"... it's a very subjective matter I think... By the way, where is the other thread you started earlier? ? Sounded interesting but now it's gone!?!

I know, noticed people reading, but not responding to it.. Since it wasn't all that cheerful to begin with, I figured this topic wouldn't scare people from posting but the original postings are still in the this or that thread, so I think I will start a new topic, with a slightly different title for that...

It was definitely an interesting topic, thought about a reply but since it wasn't quite so easy for me to put it in words I didn't reply.
Had to think about feeves' post in the 'This or That' thread the whole day. Loved your comparison, HEART versus SOUL... I totally get what you mean...
