Okay...so I am new and a little behind the power curve but I just wanted to make my vote count...LOL!
Without a doubt "Happy Hour" is my absolute favorite! Everytime I hear it I get chills...I can actually picture the encounter in my head and how his heart is breaking. How you just want that other person to be the same person they were when you were together. Who hasn't been in that situation...you wonder if there might be a spark of that relationship left but then the reality sets in that the other person in no way feels the same. It is such and amazing song and so true to life.

Having been listening to the album for half a year now, I think I'll go for Happy Hour as well, Abdicate is a close second though xx

I would also be more and more prone to choose "Happy hour" now, but VERY closely followed by "Abdicate".

I love all the songs on 'Above The Cosmos' but I think there is an amazing energy in especially "Below The Radar". I can't wait to hear the new album too. From what I have heard so far I think the new songs will beat everything we have heard from Mr. Garrison untill now...

I think the reason I chose "Happy Hour" is not just for the lyrics but the passion in his voice and the composition of the music. I love how it starts soft...like he is speaking softly hoping she hears him with a faint glimmer of hope...then the anger and disappointment come out...and then his voice starts to crack as he gets louder and I just well up and get all teary eyed...then here come the horns with the "Oh's" and it just amplifies the hurt and pain inside...then ending it with the soft piano and background noise you just feel that disappointment and loneliness. It really reminds me of "Goodbye My Lover"...I am just blown completely away!

".. the new songs will beat everything we have heard from Mr. Garrison until now..." - that's quite a task as I think his latest album is already the best it gets, hard to imagine that this one can be topped... Bring it on, Mister Garrison!!!

All of Mr. Garrison's little babie are absolutely lovely but if I have to choose, it's a three-way tie between Happy Hour, Never Far from Me and Convincing Myself.

I really like 'Testimony' the most, and I don't know why. All of them are great! 'Convincing Myself' reminds me of when I was first dating my husband. 'Never Far From Me' makes me think of my daughter who sometimes dosen't know how much I love her. I'm sure that isn't what the song was written about, but that's what it makes me think of anyway.
