Could you all please vote for Paul van Ryan in the Storm the Charts campaign? He got through round 1 and is in round 2 now but really needs votes! stormthecharts.com/poll.php?id=245This is what it is about: "We've collected more than 570 submissions of songs from bands and musicians who are either on independent labels, or completely unsigned. As a group we're going to pick 40 of these - and as a group we'll see how many of those we can get in the official top 40, all in the same week. We're now voting on the artists who made it through to round 2 this week - all other artists will reappear in a new round 1 next week! stormthecharts.com to listen and vote." |

Thanks also for taking the time after the show to hang with your boardies, chat and take some pictures. You won't believe but I was perilously close to actually asking you something, such as 'Did you get something underway musicallywise while Theafroshane was in Copenhagen?' (hopefully yes...), or 'Have you started your Primrose Hill Church recordings yet?' (hopefully yes...) or 'Are you annoyed at some of my postings?' (certainly yes...). I don't know what it is about you that takes over my brain completely and leaves me speechless somehow, very strange. ;D And I thought I was the only one that John had that effect on, Jadie... Hehe! I'm glad to know I'm not the only speechless one around John. I know I feel like a spastic, 12-year-old girl when talking to him or rather just standing there speechless and staring like a statue. I too always forget all of the things that I want say and ask. LOL! I'm not sure what it is about him... Guess it's the Rock Star aura thing. Poor John! Good thing for Blunty that he hasn't had the misfortune to meet me... HEHEHEH! Relieved somehow to hear you've got the same 'problem', and even without the language barrier. After all, no accusation of an impudent face this time, that's at least something. Bad thing for Blunty that he has already had the misfortune to meet me... probably took HIM years to get over the shock... |

Hello from London, 3rd day here. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the incredible Flight of the Conchords at the Apollo in Hammersmith last night, and Matt, of course, being busy with all the equipment before, after and during the show (looking good with a guitar), great job. And verrry nice shots on the big screen!!! ;D  Thought I saw Tom as well, not on the big screen though. Now the volcanic ash cloud is hanging over me, Gatwick and Heathrow already closed, severe flight disruptions at Stansted Airport as well. Here's hoping my flight back to Berlin will go out in the evening, wish me luck. Having a 'sweet Sangria of freedom' in the meantime in honor of FOTC... Have a nice day everyone!!!!! |
