Hiiiiii MsHoney! A very warm WELCOME to the boards. Pleased to meet you here! *Ms Honey waves to everyone and brings a plate of chocolate chip cookies as a bribe gift for all the Forum members.*Hello Garrison supporters and a big hug to Jade for her very warm welcome. I thought it would be nice to bring a house warming present for this topic. Here are a bunch of flowers that I stole picked from the Garrison Forum front garden. I think they will look rather fetching over in the corner with some cobwebs hanging off them. Since Jade knows where I’ve appeared from I should reveal it to you all. No I’m not from another planet well then again maybe I am. I am an active member from the James Blunt forum, (stop your sighing people right this minute). I will admit that I know nothing about John but I am looking forward to learning more about him. OK. That’s my confession time over and NO I am not leaving here. *Ms Honey grabs on to Jade as the rest of the Garrison members try and drag Ms Honey back to the James Blunt forum.*

*Ms Honey gets pulled by Jade and Nate in one direction and the other members pull Ms Honey in the opposite direction while elegantly eating their chocolate chip cookies supplied by Ms Honey. Ms Honey gets dropped on her head.*
OW! What is going on?
*Ms Honey looks up and sees Jade passed out on the topic floor and sees Nate standing there looking guilty.*
You were holding on to Jade a bit too tightly while you were playing tug-o-war weren’t you Nate?
*Ms Honey shakes her head in disappointment, then quickly runs behind a cobweb and hides. She then peeks sideways out of the cobweb and shouts out to Nate.*
You're going to be in trouuuuuuubbbble. You broke Jade and Mr Garrison isn’t going to be happy with you. You better fix her in a hurry.
*Ms Honey hides back behind the cobweb and munches on a cookie.*

You better fix her in a hurry. That's me RO TFLMAO ( T is for topic!). You are too funny, Ms Honey (that rhymes!) and Nate. ;D I can't believe there's so much action going on here and I am right in the middle without even knowing!!! ;D First off, no worries Nate, I'm fine. No such thing as holding on too tightly. ;D If there's anyone or anything that could fix me at all, it would be Mister Garrison announcing a solo gig or some news on the 'development' of his forthcoming record. I'm afraid neither of it is likely to happen anytime soon Still, I've got Ms Honey's lovely front garden flowers and the chocolate chip cookies to enjoy plus you guys to make me laugh. Thanks for that - Good Karma is on the way. *Ms Honey hides back behind the cobweb and munches on a cookie.* Now I have this image on my mind, Garrison board members in ACTION: Ok, it's not as bad as that as far as the cobwebs go and with a little luck, the spiderman is not having us for dinner tonight either, but it's still very quiet in here (I too haven't been posting as much as I used to, but I can assure you I'm still as crazy as ever... crazy in love with John Garrison's music). So on that note, it's all the more great and a pleasure to have you around and see you posting, Deanna and Ms Honey. thanks for the welcome, jade!! i'm happy to be here and to be immersing myself in all things john!! i have definitely been getting swept up in his music after a couple of lovely run-ins with him in may! i'll try to check in here more often! cheers! d. I will admit that I know nothing about John but I am looking forward to learning more about him. OK. That’s my confession time over and NO I am not leaving here. Wishing you much fun immersing yourselves in all things John, and please, DON'T leave but tell us your thoughts while you're at it.

Well I love the uniform you have the Garrison band in Jade. It serves two purposes. One to steer people’s attention away from our hideous instrument playing and the second, we will be mighty prepared for battle if we ever get attacked (because of our hideous playing.) Absolutely brilliant Jade!
I will certainly keep you tuned in to my thoughts about Mr G’s music once I start listening to it. I mean, I certainly have outstanding musical tastes to back up my highly regarded opinion. I shall name some of them for you, Celine Dion, that guy who sings in a high pitch voice and wears only grey shirts ( I think his name is something like Blunt) and of course the crème de le crème of music, good old thigh slapping Country and Western. See I told you I had excellent taste and you people doubted me. *Ms Honey shakes her head at the Garrison Boardies’.* HEY! Who’s that giggling at my music choices? Don’t think I can’t hear you because I can. *Ms Honey stands with her hands on her hips looking very cross.*

Don’t think I can’t hear you because I can. *Ms Honey stands with her hands on her hips looking very cross.* Aww, no need to look cross, Ms Honey! I, for one, am not giggling at your music choices. I too like Mister Blunt's music, though if I said I was into Celine Dion or Country and Western, it would be a lie. But if you like it, there's nothing wrong with that. Music is such a passionate, personal thing, completely subjective, and arguing with someone who has different tastes in music I believe is both ridiculous and pointless (See we don't need the uniforms ). People sometimes seem to be on a crusade to tell other people off for enjoying different types of genres and artists, I find that aspect of music culture rather unproductive and tiresome. Just my opinion; no more valid than others I suppose. I will certainly keep you tuned in to my thoughts about Mr G’s music once I start listening to it. Did you start listening to Mr G's music yet? And what do you think? I'm curious! Makes me think of that day in February 2008 when I discovered John's music. How was I to know that this very moment when his universe hit mine was going to change every single one that followed (moment, not universe )? I started listening and kept doing so the whole day and the whole night through. Actually, I haven't stopped listening ever since (well kind of...). I still can't really tell what exactly it is that is so addictive about his songs. I guess in the first place it's his voice and this unbelievable vocal range. But it is also the great melodies and meaningful lyrics - colourful and dark at the same time - what gets me again and again. And, truth be told, when he sings with this very sexy English accent, it never fails to make me weak in the knees. As I got to know more and more of John's songs, I felt as if some of his songs know me, a strange yet incredible feeling I haven't got with the music of any other artist before. I don't know if this will make sense to anyone who reads this or if any of you can relate to my words. Funny enough that it took me more than 1.700 posts to realize that the way his songs touch me can not be communicated in words, no matter how often or how hard I try. So I guess it's about time I stopped trying... Over to you!!

Thank you for being interested on how I am liking Mr G’s music Jade but I’ve only briefly listened to the start of some of his songs. You see, once I start his slideshow I want to take his musical journey with him from the start. I think that way I will get a better understanding of what his music career has been like so far. Actually I am very excited about going on this journey with Mr G (so to speak.) I just hope that John will stop for toilet breaks or things could get rather uncomfortable for him and me very quickly.
Well Hello there JBFan132. It’s nice to see you here but what on earth do you mean “you see many a good laugh coming with me around.” I am a very serious person thank you very much.
*Ms Honey puts her clown outfit on along with her clown nose and shoes and hops in to her miniature clown car and goes to drive out the topic beeping her clown horn. Ms Honey accidently runs in to JBFan132 and then in to Jade and then in to the giant portrait of John hanging up in the Garrison Forum.* Gee they just don’t make clown cars like the good old days. *Ms Honey spins the wheels of her clown car and speeds out of the topic before the fun police catch her.*
