that depends on the type of job.. if it's fulltime (32 to 40 hrs) then you may assume you will be able to take some time off. I doubt german working hours and time off don't differ that much from our system. So if she were to start a fulltime job in june, then she should be able to get 4 days off in october. Working a parttime job, she may already be free on one or more days of your planned trip And she can always mention upfront, that she has planned a short break in october when negotiating/ discussing the job she is applying for...

I am going for a new job myself right now, and up front I have told them, I already HAVE tickets bought and will not be there on those days. If your friend gives them a heads up before accepting the job, most places are cool about it.

then what type of job is she looking for? fulltime or part-time? And does she want a job where a certain level of education is required? For tourist season is nearing and there are surely a lot of tourists coming to Berlin, which usually means a lot of summertime jobs Perhaps a job abroad? They often look for native speakers in Spain, Eurocamp is an organization with summerparks/campings in Spain amongst others.. tho you need to be 18 for that I think...

Germany here... I would love John to play a gig here or in the Netherlands so we could attend a gig! The same for Spain... I was talking with another Buda fan, and he told me the same, he could do a gig perfectly while he is not playing bass for James.

I doubt he has enough time for one off shows at the moment with his crazy schedule...
