Thanks for the warm welcome back, Jadie! I wish you could be @ the Living Room gig!!!!!!! You will be dearly missed!  Though like Jason Mraz, "I'm gonna keep on hopin'" that all you European Boardies can make it ;D ;D ;D .... Maybe I will win the South Carolina Lottery while I am in Charleston. It's up to $40 million... Though after Uncle Sam gets hold of it, it will only be $20 million.... BOOO TO TAXES!!!!!!.... Still enough to start a Garrison Boardie Travel Endowment, I think though!!!!  ;D I LOVE Charleston. That is where I got married and where my son was born. If you happen to go downtown there is a waterfront pier with porch swings on it (not too far from the market)...if you go all the way to the end and then left to the last bench that is where my husband proposed to me back in 1994. Oh...and there is a park that goes along the water just next to that pier and there are what looks like flat stone monuments in the lawn...stand on one of those stones looking toward the water and yell...it echos...it's crazy! I can't believe it I FINALLY have internet at home! Now I don't have to rely on my phone or the computers at university anymore (yes, i did spend entire weekends at uni because I needed the internet!). Reeeeeally happy right now.

Time's not on my side these days. I'm constantly in a rush, actually since I got back from my skiing holidays more than 3 weeks ago. You have no idea what I would give to be there with you at the Living Room. I'll be in London that day seeing Ronan Keating at the Royal Albert Hall (probably listening to John's music via earphones simultaneously ) Was a present from a friend, first time I'm going to a show because of the artist's looks rather than their music. But since Mr Keating is blessed with what I consider the perfect face of a man I think I'll make it through his set. Anyway, safe travels, Miss Alabama! ;D You already in an Empire state of mind? |
