Well, actually I only wanted to start a new topic to make it up to 100! (in words: hundred).. yahoo!!
Nonetheless, here's one I like somehow: "The dice of God are always loaded. The world looks like a multiplication-table, or a mathematical equation, which, turn it how you will, balances itself. Take what figure you will, its exact value, nor more nor less, still returns to you. Every secret is told, every crime is punished, every virtue rewarded, every wrong redressed, in silence and certainty. What we call retribution is the universal necessity by which the whole appears wherever a part appears. If you see smoke, there must be fire. If you see a hand or a limb, you know that the trunk to which it belongs is there behind." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Maybe we should put this topic to rest with another quote from Emerson: "I hate quotations. Tell me what you know."

My favourite quote of the week: I love seeing the world while still making music. It's all I ever wanted to do. Touring with James is fantastic as he and the rest of the guys are really great guys and now good friends. My Budapest days were great too but there is a lot of pressure as the front man. I am very much enjoying being at the back for once. I love playing my little intimate solo shows too as I get a chance to connect with a handful of people which I think suits my songs. Being able to play music live at all is a fantastic feeling whatever and how ever it may be. *smiles brightly*

... and another favourite quote of mine: Although Budapest was never a commercial success, from the constant emails I get from around the world, I know that 'Too Blind To Hear' and 'Head Towards The Dawn' mean a hell of a lot to some people out there and for me, that was the only reason I ever made music. So for me it was a huge success. I had an email only yesterday from a guy in Brazil saying that 'Head Towards The Dawn' is his favourite album of all time. This folks, is why I write music. That email means more to me than any Grammy or royalty cheque and I am being 100% honest about that (good job as I have never earned a penny to date.....ha ha ha)

What a good topic, I love this last quote But this one is good too (for my opinion): Nothing lasts forever, so live it up, drink it down, laugh it off, avoid the bullcosmos, take chances, and never have regrets, because at one point what you did was exactly what you wanted.I found somewhere... Maybe Google...

Love the quote you posted, Lucy, thanks!!! This one is great as well and so true : "I don't know if there are men on the moon, but if there are they must be using the earth as their lunatic asylum" George Bernard Shaw and I might add: "I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing" J. xx

Summary/adapted version of a remark I once heard...
Never fear what may happen, follow your dreams and go for it, for people usually end up regretting what they didn't do....
