silly question, but this thread is as good as any... what is karma? I noticed mine is at 1, but I got absolutely no clue how that happened...

Hi, I'm Clive from Berkshire England. I've been a fan of John's since I heard 'Life gets in the way' from his Budapest days (it was actually on a promo compilation from HMV). I have been to this board before but there hadn't been much activity for ages. I do, however, feel a little out of place as everyone else appears to be female (though God knows why!). Still have all of John's old Budapest demos on my iPod alongside the Budapest CDs and of course Above the Cosmos.

Welcome Clive....Are ya single? I am a bit of an Anglophile!
I have a habit of starting parties where ever I go, so I figured this place needed some shaking up. Took me almost 3 years to get another board to finally stand on it's own, not needing me much anymore, so here I am!!!!!
Wait, is my Karma back to normal?
I think the more posts ya have, the more karma ya get. It may be set for every 30 posts or so you get Karma......

rofl@link15.. nope we get to do the karma thingy ourselves ;D you can click Exalt to give one karma point, or smite to take a karma point from someone.. and only once every hour or so.... But a big welcome (back) to Camorr/Clive from Berkshire and of course to mademoisselleblunt from the boardies Just wondering Clive, you say you have all the budapest demo's... do you by any chance have a good print of the 4-track 'wake up call' sampler' ? I have 2 faulty prints now (not that I mind that much....lol) but am still looking for a good print ;D and do you have any track that is not available as mp3 on lewisslade or youtube? for I feel like I still haven't heard everything there is.... xxx loraline |
