Cool that you are from Rockford! I'm from Macomb originally...it's downstate a ways (home of Western Illinois University) but I've been up to Rockford a few times in my life. I have a ton of family up in the Chicago area...Wheaton & Elmhurst mostly.

Anyway...I miss Illinois from time to time...military life has now brought us to Oklahoma now but I try to get back home at least once a year!

Hey Nate, I'm sorry I'm replying only now. Thank you for introducing yourself and thanks also for the links. I very much enjoyed listening to your songs. Wow, you've got a really beautiful voice and some great music and lyrics there. I think, especially "The Crimson Snow" is quite overwhelming sonically. Might as well be a part of a movie score, plain awesome. Did you compose and orchestrate it yourself?
I also like "Strawberries" and "Awaiting Your Arrival" a lot. Thanks so much for giving me something so nice and soothing at the end of my workday.
Keep it up, Nate. Sending you some good Karma all the way from Berlin to Rockford.
