It's the biggest shopping day of the year in The States because the stores all have massive holiday sales. ;D It's always the day after Thanksgiving because no one has work (well, except the sales clerks). It is called Black Friday because the sales on that day are so great that they make enough money to put the stores "in the black" (or doing well) financially. "In the red" on the other hand is bad! It means that you owe more that what you have. Black is the best... Hence, the black card is American Express's highest credit level.

And my mother drug my butt out at 4AM to go to JC Penney then 5AM to Wal Mart and 6AM to KMart...I know I love to shop but Black Friday shoppers are vicious animals and I would have preferred to continue my beauty sleep as opposed to saving $5.00 on a Snuggie...LOL!!!  |

LOL! Sorry about your crazy Black Friday, poor Keri. Did you know that the guy who invented the snuggie is now a millionaire off of that one invention? LOL! Have you seen the new ones for dogs? I'm getting one for my sister's dog for Christmas as a joke. Hahaha! I didn't know they sold them in WalMart and KMart. I thought you had to call the 900 number or go online to get them. Hahahah! They also sell Snuggies at Target too...and they have a variety of colors now...I actually bought one as a gag gift for one of the girls here at work...no offense to those that actually like them...LOL! As for that guy, I wish I would have thought of it...all he did was take a bath robe and put it on backward.
The dog one cracks me up! I actually considered buying one for my whole family and have family pictures taken with them on and our hands up in the air like in the commercial when they are at the football game) and send the pictures out in our Christmas cards this year...LMAO!!!

My sister has a 4 lb. teacup Yorkie and I am going to get a pink one for her... LMAO! They're so tacky. My sister and brother in law are going to hate it! Haahaha!

OK...since we've been talking about the Snuggie I have to tell you guys that while I was driving home from work yesterday I was listening to Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 (on XM radio) and apparently the Snuggie has made it to the UK...they call it the Slanket (Blanket with Sleeves)....I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants!!!

I saw a commercial last night for a new thing that's like a sleeping bag but it's made of thin, bedsheet type material so that it can be folded to fit in a purse. It's called the Dreamie... And I confess that I tried that aliens took my John Garrison character LOL! |
