I've lived a year in North Carolina being a exchange student at Appalachian State University... it was a dream come true for me, it has been a wonderful year and I'm so in love with american people! but sadly, I'm starting to lose my english too.

I love North Carolina. My Dad's side of the family is from North Carolina. My Dad grew up in Fayetteville and went Wake Forrest for undergrad and UNC for grad school. I'm so glad to hear that you like Americans! I am quite a proud one, myself, particularly because I am a descendant of two of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Hi everyone - I know quite a few of you from the Blunty boards, so it's great to catch up with you here, and to meet some new people too. It was a shame about the camera... unfortunately mine is broken, so I used my mum's cheapy one - but not a great deal of use without decent batteries and a memory card eh?! lol Oh well, I got the most important one. The boards here remind me very much of James' but I am still finding my way around. I didnt even know John had message boards until recently - I signed the guestbook instead as I didn't know there was an option. Thanks for the Karma - but how does that work? Not Karma, but the score I mean... glad to be here, nice to meet you all, see you around peeps :-)

Welcome annmarie! as for the Karma.. you like somebody, his/her message or if you want to give somebod a thumbs up, you hit the exalt with the left mouse button and then one karma is added to that person's karma total... anybody who needs a kick in the b'tt or a talk down, you can smite, but I think here that only happens by accident....
