Well, having studied American squirrels at Madison Square Park and any other park in NY and being an expert now I have to say that American squirrels are not half as stupid as German squirrels!! But then again, German squirrels might be the more stupid ones but they look better (except the one I found run over by a car when I got home today )....

My neighbor has potted plants on her deck. So she sees dirt flying out of one of the plants and ran to the window and started to knock on it. Out popped a squirrel. It then ran to the other pot with flowers in it and started flinging dirt again, and he popped out with a peanut. So he's been hiding the peanuts she has been throwing out for em.

This thread is cracking me up I have quite the squirrel story myself, though. When we lived in Charleston, SC the squirrels were so abundant that you thought they may actually be legitimate citizens of the state. Anyway...there was this one day while I was cooking dinner all of the sudden we hear this loud pop outside and then the power goes off. So we head outside to find one very stupid squirrel lying on the street completely charred to a crisp. I wonder if he thought that the power lines would taste good.

In about 230 years of postal history, I bet it is not the first, but I've personally never heard of another squirrel biting," said Steve Kochersperger, spokesman for the Erie district....
