I had the feeling that something important would happen today and decided to check my emails even though I have to leave again in ten minutes... and that's what I found!!!

I've just spent the last week experimenting, learning new instruments
and recording the results in Sleeper Studios in Primrose Hill, London
with my good buddy Matt Shane twiddling knobs and pushing ancient
faders. It was a great week and I had the privilege of bouncing ideas
and generally hanging out with some wonderful people. I've never had
such a rewarding time in a studio before and I would like to
personally thank everyone who went out their way to be a part of it.
It felt like a real community with different people popping in and out
all the time, all with the one goal of keeping the creativity flowing.
I loved it. It's the 1st time I've ever gone into a studio without
musically having a clue where to go and just going with the flow. It's
amazing what can happen when different creative minds get together.
I'm off to New York with Matt on Thursday to carry on with the
recordings with my State side buddies. Can't bloody wait. Thank you
all again so much. Let's do it again real soon.
For those of you in New York City Friday September 19th, I will be on
the bill of an acoustic gig in Washington Square. More details and
excellent coffee can be found at my favourite hang, Esperanto Café 113
MacDougal St (btw w3 and Bleecker) NYC. The event starts at 4pm. I
will be playing some new stuff, some old stuff, and maybe some stuff I
haven't even written yet. Who knows? It should be a fun evening. Come
say hi.
Big thanks to those of you hassling radio stations with "Cosmos". It
really means a lot that you all go out your way on my behalf and it
seems to be paying off (in Germany anyway). I'm really enjoying
logging onto my forum and checking the progress.

There is plenty of amusing chat on there so please join in, those
that haven't. I've unlocked it too so any Tom, thingy or Harry can now
go on there. Dangerous stuff....!!!!!!
