crossing my fingers here.. talked to the programmer of a venue I used to work for, and they really like John's music.

Ok... I have found about 15 small venues here in Berlin, of which I consider four to be really good...!!! Just waiting for John to answer my last question in the questions thread But I'll ask him in 15 days anyway

Thank you, loraline, for taking the time to write such a detailed review. Great you liked the show but sorry to hear that you didn't feel too well at the end of the gig *sends some Karma :-) *). Thanks for the photos as well, those are great shots.

This might seem sad news, for it will take some time before we get to see him play live and solo in Europe, on the other hand, we can alll start saving up for a trip to any location he might be playing

I don't think that's sad news, could have been worse ... time goes by so quickly, so a solo-tour in spring sounds good to me!!!

As for the album release, it doesn't surprise me at all that John seems to be the kind of artist that wants to be involved in the making of his album the whole way through, at any point in proceedings. I think that's completely understandable as it is quite important for the final result. Ok, being 'on the road' until March won't get him the chance to do so any time soon, but I'd rather wait a little longer, knowing the album has been done exactly as he wanted it to be done. I'm entirely sure, no matter how long it may take, it's going to be an album worthy of our patience.

After the Paris's gig I asked John if I could expect to have his second album for Xmas and he replied that it would be too early.

And asking for the Valentine day he told that maybe ...

So we'll have to wait till February-March ...

he will be touring with James till the end of february according to the latest tour dates on James calender, so I don't really expect him to be able to finish his album before then.... but he could start his solo touring in march of course, which should be bl**dy brilliant
