Hi John, How's Indonesia these days??? A new city almost every day, a gig, a hangover...you must be exhausted to say the least!?! Are we having fun yet? Thank you again for taking the time to give such detailed answers to our questions. I've read your replies several times, they're all great. Loved in particular your words concerning the songwriting process and your inspiration, the current touring and your plans on recording a new CD, your 'VW campervan' days and the quite interesting 'slap and 6 string'- thing. Oh and so nice to see that you seem to have a good sense of humour!!! Yesterday I created a new playlist on the MySpace page, including some of my all time favourites (and maybe one of yours as well?? ) – Just wanted to let you know that you are still Number One (and two) on my list and this shall not change until the sun grows cold. Still listening to your music all day long wherever I go, this is getting serious, Mister! Guess it's little wonder that "I feel so close to you" - your songs are amazing and so are YOU!! Blowing you a cyber kiss from Berlin to Jakarta!!! Love always, Jacqueline xx PS: My previously rather dormant message board has suddenly sprung to life thanks to a handful of very lovely people (you know who you are). Oh nooo… John Garrison wrote this… and Jade says THANXX!!!

I think I may love you more because of your mad dancing skills....sorry I had to make you the girl. James has to have a chance being the boy once in a while.

Hello John,
I hope you will enjoy the tour in South Africa. Can't wait to see you on tour with James again! By the way, my dad told me to tell you that he absolutely loves „Happy Hour“, especially the instrumental bit after the second chorus. We listen to this song every morning on the way to work/school - a lovely way to start the day.

hello John I hope you had a chance to get some rest before going to South Africa. Not sure how things are right now, but the past days there were reports of unrest in Johannesburg on the news, so be careful.. Hope you have a great week out there

Hi John, You're really spoiling us with your quick and honest replies to our questions. Once again, thanks a million for taking the time, it's much appreciated!! I know it sounds quite cheesy right now (and probably no-one will believe me but at least I know it is true): Your answer regarding your favourite song really left me speechless, 'cause some time ago we had a thread on the old JB boards, something like "Is there a song you wished it was written by you" and I posted a reply saying "Imagine" by John Lennon. So I can't believe that out of thousands of songs you came up with exactly this one. It starts to frighten me a bit if you know what I mean. I'm sure you know this clip as it's been John Lennon's last appearance on stage: de.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5nVu3DKP2YI think it's the most amazing performance of this great song... so nicely contradictive and somehow bizarre with all the people around him dressed up to the nines. And of course, one needs to be Lennon to even look pretty cool without getting rid of the chewing gum (at least it looks like that) before taking the stage. Loved as well that he added the "sisterhood" bit at the end. Okay, so many words, so little time. Hope you don't start rolling your eyes whenever you stumble across one of my rather long posts. If so, my humble apologies, Mister! Wishing you all the very best for the upcoming shows and much fun at the gigs and in between!! Golf is great in South Africa, isn't it??? Everything happens for a reason... stranded on your island... Jacqueline xx

Hi John, Hope you had a blast this night in Iceland, on stage and afterwards. I guess having a bit of a break in between all that touring wasn't bad at all and then seeing the familiar faces of your bandmates again sure was a good reason to after-party it away, probably drinking more Whiskey than a High-School football team in Alabama... ;D Although I registered on the Budapest board some months ago, it was only yesterday that I read all of the 149 entries you posted there. Should have done this much earlier since it was quite an interesting read. I got the answers to many questions I was just about to ask you in the other thread. I'm really impressed with your way of dealing with things. My respect for your patience towards 'nasty posters' and your candour and honesty (which shows through your words regarding the split of Budapest) is truly limitless. As my love for your music grew with each song, I feel I'm also getting a huge crush on your personality with every word you say - here, in your newsletters and also on the Budapest board. I've met you twice for about 15 minutes (...so no second chance for a first impression ), I've been listening to your songs at least two hours a day for the last five months, I've read almost everything you've written for public consumption - I can't say that I know you but I like you a lot... "The only truth is what I feel" Love always, Jacqueline xx

...Loraline! I'm so envious lol... but have a great time!...Hello John, I got the Head Towards the Dawn CD today, thanks to Jade, who ordered two as I don't have Paypal. Don't know what I'd have done without her! I love it, really love it... I put it on my mobile phone and am listening to it right now, knowing that the music will be stuck in my head for the next days... the artwork is great too by the way. And I also fell in love with your song My Morning Sun which I listened to on Youtube. It's absolutely awesome, do you think it will be on your next album? I will buy all the train tickets for October in July.... it's only four months now and I'm so excited Can't wait to see you again! That's it for now I think. Thank you again, John, thank you for everything! Your music moves me so much and I'm absolutely grateful I got the opportunity to discover it... you have know idea how much this all means to me... Take care, lots of love and see you soon! Marlina x p.s.: you really made me smile the other day... thank you
