Before it starts to get messy in the 'Gigs'- thread, I thought I'd start a new one for this gig we're all so very much looking forward to!! Attendees thus far:Loraline Kati Jade Kitine Missalabama Alexmusic and John (hopefully) ;D ;D 43 days and counting...  |

So happy, because I ordered my ticket today. Knowing that the tickets went on sale exactly the day I had left for Spain (no laptop and no way to submit my credit card number from some dodgy Spanish internet-café), and getting more and more nervous at the thought of having booked the flights to London and a hotelroom, but probably going to end up without a ticket, I was really happy that there were still some available for that rather intimate spot. Oh, and I only found out yesterday that Blur will be playing 2 shows in London/Hyde Park on July, 2nd and 3rd... it's my dream to see them reunited since I last saw Damon Albarn with The Good, The Bad and The Queen back in 2006, which was a profoudly joyful experience... he's such a musical genius. But then, if I had to choose, I'd rather attend a Garrison gig if it was at the same time.Hey, now I actually HAD to choose but didn't have to think twice!! Mister Garrison... anytime!! ... And maybe I'll even make it to the Blur-gig on Friday, though my flight back to Berlin is scheduled for the same evening. Back to topic: Can't wait to meet y'all!! Roll on July! |

Too early... need to sort some things out before I feel comfortable about going anywhere  Hmm. Well, it's 'only' four months so I will surely be there in autumn And I do miss gigging with you too, especially all our sneaking into closed off parking lots ( ;D ;D) and the weird look on John's face when he saw us in city after city wondering how we always did that... *sighs* |

I have to admit that I'm a bit confused as to the info on this gig: There are 3 acts listed for the evening, Notes will be first I'm assuming: www.themonto.com/listings_detail.php?listings_id=1090on the Blunty boards TEARS AND RAIN (who'll be there as well) posted: then, on Rachel Collins' MySpace it says that she'll be on 22:30 (10:30pm) www.myspace.com/rachelcollinsmusicSomehow those pieces of information don't really fit... but maybe I'm just the dizzy blonde again... Be it as it may, as long as Johnny is going to show up at some point during the night in question, belting out some tunes, it's all right with me. No noise police needed I hope... ;D ;D |

LOL! 30 minutes is short, even for an opening act, and if John is the headliner, that can't be right... Of course that could explain why the ticket price is so inexpensive... I think I paid more for the last movie that I saw! |
