Aww, missalabama, that's really sad that you won't be able to make it to London. I was so looking forward to meeting you as you seem to be a lovely person and it's always nice to put a face to the name. I too hope you'll get the chance to attend one of his upcoming stateside gigs. I also still have my ticket from Blunty's O2 gig, maybe I can make him sign it for you, but I guess it's just not the same as having yours signed and being there when he actually does it. Hoping for more gigs to come and an opportunity to meet you!! Hugs and some Karma (won't help though to make you feel less sad I'm afraid) J. xx

Oooh It would be sooooo GREAT to meet you all there, but I think at the moment it's impossible if I want to keep my job. I'm on sick leave for the ankle (still! 2 weeks without walking on the street, I'm dying!!) and I go back to work on Friday. I don't know if I should tell a lie to my bosses to leave job for 2 days after they worked without a call-filter for 2 weeks, they should be VERY hysterical... I don't know what to do.... If they treat me bad once again, of course I will go! Let's wait to see what's going on... I agree with the others... would be really good to see you in London but you really shouldn't risk losing your job for a gig... We all know its not just a gig but THE gig for us... still, work is more important... and who knows maybe there will be more gigs besides some in NY... who knows maybe John will annouce more gigs in the UK sorry to hear about your ankle... things like that can take so long to heal... it's annoying I am glad to see you back too and I hope your ankle gets better soon! I agree with Jade!!! In fact, I some things just came up with my work, so that I don't think I am going to be able to make it to the H2ORats gig after all! I am SOOOO HEARTBROKEN!!! I really want to cry!!! I don't know what I am most sad about: not getting to hear John's amazing voice live, not getting to meet all of John's sweet Boardie Birdies or not getting to visit my London, which I LOVE so much!!! My concert curse strikes again! As much as I love John's music, work comes first... I'm like a 1950s husband! LOL! I am banking on The Afroshane's post that there will be a NYC gig in August!!!! Hey Girlies, please have fun, drink some thingytails and take LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of videos for us!!!! So sad about that for you especially but for us, too as I was really looking forward to meeting you there . But again... I'm afraid - as you said - work is more important. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you'll be able to go to NY for a gig and then you'll be the one responsible for LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of videos Really... would have been great to have you both in London, too. We will do our best for great pictures and great videos...

Thank you girls for all your advices, very appreciated, and I never loose hopes, crossed fingers for new dates before he goes back to NYC (maybe I should buy one of those fashionable voodoo dolls for making true my wishes, LOL). A job is important but when you work so hard for 2 years carrying a lawyer's office on your own and your bosses treat you really bad, you try to solve the problems by talking, and after all looks like you're nothing to them, you think twice and look for greener fields. And I'm not prepared to leave one of my dreams for being the good and silly worker. I'm not masochistic . (That's why I don't like lawyers, Jade. You're the exception ) That's why I like this board so much, not only the man himself has a heart that doesn't fit inside him ;D

You seem so very nice too! I was looking forward to meeting you and the girls very much!! I am sad to not get the chance! Maybe there will be another gig where you will all be and that I will be able to attend as well!! Thank you for the offer on getting John to sign your ticket for me. I would hate to take your ticket though, as I'm sure you would want to keep your actual ticket... And as you said, it's not the same as being there when he actually signs it... Hopefully one day soon!!! Thanks also for the wishes on upcoming gigs for me to possibly attend!!! Between missing flights and sleeping through alarm clocks, it took me three times to actually get to see Blunty, so I'm hoping that maybe the second time will be the charm for John! I appreciate the Karma! Thanks! I need it! I'm sending some back your way too! Thanks, Miss A. XXXX ;D Oooh It would be sooooo GREAT to meet you all there, but I think at the moment it's impossible if I want to keep my job. I had the funniest dream about the H20 Rats gig last night. It must be prefaced by the fact that there is a local dj here who evidently loves the old Olivia Newton-John song "Would a little more love make it right?" and my runnung joke is that every time I get it my car that song is playing. LOL! So anyway, evidently in my dream I am still going beacuse I was there front row center... HaHa! All the boardies were there and James, Karl, Ben... To steal a Line form Ricky Nelson's "Garden Party"... "Everyone was there." So John comes out and starts singing Olivia's "Would a little More Love Make it Right?" a capella and the room clears... I was the only one nice enough to stay through the whole song. He was really getting into it and he had his eyes closed the whole time. When he finished the song, he opened his eyes, realized everyone was gone and he looked so sad. He said, "Why did everyone leave?" I said, "I guess it was the Olivia Newton-John." And then I awoke laughing!

Loved your description of the scenery, now I have this vivid picture in my mind and am likely to wait all the time at the H2O Rats gig for his cover of this song (I 'blame' it on you ) Oh, and I certainly wouldn't leave, no way, "I'm trapped, trapped in the spell of your eyes, in the warmth of your arms, in the web of your lies" la la la and yeah, a little more love will ALWAYS make it right.. . BTW, after reading your posting yesterday, I couldn't get this song out of my head all day long, even humming it on my way back from the gig of the Kings of Leon. Speaking of which, all I can say is WOW!!! Zero show, zero interaction with the crowd (~17,000!!!) - just MUSIC!! 100% rock, 100% sound, 100% power and Caleb Followill really has this incredible voice like on their albums, only ten times more hypnotic, ten times more vigorous, ten times more emotive, ten times more aggressive and ten times more adorable. I'm impressed, yes I am!!

That's so funny that you couldn't get Olivia out of your head all day even at the Kings of Leon gig!! LOL!! Glad to hear you wouldn't leave either. I too would love to hear John singing the "Trapped in the spell of your eyes, in the warmth of your arms..." line or even better, the line, "Where did my innocence go? How, how was a young girl to know?" I'm now giggling like a little girl! Maybe he will sing it for y'all since I can't be there!!! ? Wink, Wink, JOHN!! Speaking of ONJ, did anyone see her daughter on MTV's Cradle of Rock? She looks a lot like her mom except that she's brunette... I think she got beaten by MC Hammer's daughter though. The Kings of Leon gig sounds like a great time. Glad you had such a good time! I have never seen them live but love their music! Lucky You! That's great!

Best of luck to you if you decide to start looking for a new one... It is really tough out there right now with the crazy economy! I hope this week is better for you!

ROFL!!! I don't know that song of Olivia Newton-John, but just imaging the scene I laughed a lot! Poor John, but we all know he wouldn't be alone, would he? A job is important but when you work so hard for 2 years carrying a lawyer's office on your own and your bosses treat you really bad, you try to solve the problems by talking, and after all looks like you're nothing to them, you think twice and look for greener fields. You're the exception ) Oh ok, that doesn't sound too good to me I'd probably be looking for opportunities to get out of office, too. Have you ever thought about getting a new job? Ok that's presumable easier said than done... I've been searching for a new job during the last year, and more since some months ago whne I decided to move to Madrid. I'm desperate. But concerning to John show in London, I have an ace up my sleeve (hope I wrote it right), after all I think I found a solution. I've been thinking a lot and just thinking of not seeing John on stage once again hurts a lot, and so many questions inside my head as "what will happen if he doesn't come back to Europe in a year?", and all that kind of negative thoughts... But then, as we say in Spain, I came on the light bulb (that means I have an unexpected and sudden idea). Let's cross fingers stronger than ever!!!! ;D Really hope it works.... Breathe deep, who knows how long will this last.

Hey people, do you think there's a chance to get two tickets at the venue itself? Or should I buy them before travelling? (I feel like a strategist preparing a harmful plan, mwhahaha!!!) And this is my 666th post, so devil is on behalf of me, LOL
