"Footprints" is my favorite track at the moment as far as his upbeat songs go. Sonically sweeping and simply amazing. Brilliant lyric too!!
I love it when the words in a song inspire a picture in my head and the line "You stamped your footprints in the concrete I poured around my fragile heart" is doing just that!
I'm stuck on "Footprints" and in particular on this line ever since I heard it for the first time (SIX! days ago), just can't get it out of my head, all day and actually even all night, which can be a horrible thing if you don't like the song you start obsessing about... Thank God, this one I really like!!!

WEIRD - WEIRDER - FOOTPRINTS!!! You guys are crazy! This song is amazing and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! It really is a sonic masterpiece, and there is so much to this track I hadn't heard before. What's that sound at the beginning? If I had not known for sure that I was listening to a CD, I would have thought there's some tape jam going on... like in my childhood days when the tape deck had chewed up my favorite cassette.  |
