Once Around The Block
Once around the block, once more baby May it never stop, keep on moving The moment that we stop, when I climb out And shut the door behind, I can’t go back With bags on the ground, tell me
What do I do now? Where do I go from here? Who will catch my fall? Who will watch over me now?
Pull up to my door, I look over Tears run down your face, one last embrace Now driving away, tail lights fading
What do I do now? Where do I go from here? Who will catch my fall? Who will watch over me now?

OMG!!! ROFLMAO @ myself!!! In the Making of Departures video, I could have sworn it was, "I smell a bloke." I have a history of misunderstanding lyrics... My little sister and I once had a fight over the lyrics to "Hang on Sloopy." She said it was "Hang on Snoopy" and I said it was "Hang on Stupid." So as Martha Stweart says, "It's a good thing" to put the actual lyrics here...
LOVE this song!

You don't want to know my misunderstood lyrics... based on misheard lyrics I once thought that a song was about something it wasn't at all...
"Once around the block" is one of th songs that really grew on me.

It's either because I hadn't listened to this song on facebook for quite a while, or because the sound on CD is so much better than through a speaker, but when I listened I noticed that I hadn't realized how amazing this song is and how intense these feelings seem...

Is it just me or is this a particularly sad one?! I mean it's not 'clever lonely' like "Footprints" or 'interesting lonely' like "Rendezvous" - it's 'lonely lonely'... like when you get hugged by someone and somehow it only makes you feel sadder.
Such a great song, especially the violin bit at the end is unbelievably beautiful. Stops me in my tracks everytime I hear it. I totally get what the AbsolutePunk reviewer meant by saying that this song has a slight Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright vibe to it. Ain't many artists out there able to put all the weight of the world in just one song like those three mentioned above.

I couldn't have said it better, Jadie! I feel the same about this one! It breaks my heart every time! It is utterly sad but so beautiful!
