Old newsletters, most of them with the adventures of John starting living in New York, and so on. The 1st newsletter I have is from 22-07-2007, but the funny stuff begins in 23-08-2007 with a neverending beer (although it was about a very bad event as well where John and Tom were witnesses, and Tom being sick, poor guy). Maybe should I open a new thread and copy all old newsletters I have for all of you to read? By the way, have you read last twitter update??? ROFL!!! I didn't know that if you take a flight in UK, you arrive to LA 2 days later! OMG! ;D

Yes! Please start that thread, Lucita! Would love to read those! Poor Tom! LOL!
Yes, that is a long trip from London to LA! It's about 13 hrs from Heathrow to NYC or Atlanta then another 7 to LA! Not FUN!!!! Plus, LA is about 8 hours behind London. I bet he's a tired bunny right about now!
LOL! I sound like a travel agent.

For those that cannot wait for the new thread (it's going to be a very looooong thread), all of John's Newsletters/Blogs can be found on his MySpace - blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendId=82484211&page=2 - (click on Blog Archive for older/newer posts). I'm with you, Lucy, they're all incredibly entertaining and sooo well worth reading. I even have a printed version of his 'tales', kind of my favourite book. John should make such a book, too, then he can read it all to his children one day. ;D Yes! Please start that thread, Lucita! Would love to read those! Poor Tom! LOL! And yes, it IS a long flight, but not that long, 'only' about 8 hrs nonstop from Heathrow to NYC I believe and maybe another 3 hrs to L.A.... or am I totally wrong here??? "I land on Friday morning... la la la"... nice one... ;D

Thanks, Jadey! ;D Those were hilarious! What a great read! I love that they were turned away from the club and the strip club! HAHAHAH! They needed some hot chicks or Blunty with them to get them in! LOL! This reminds me of my favorite "That 70s Show" episode where Erik can't get in the club...
LOL! Thanks, Jade... So I guess I have a backup in case this crazy architect dream doesn't pan out... I do love to travel! I could be wrong on the flight times... Though I'm pretty sure it's at least a little longer than 3 hours from NYC to LA unless you're on a really fast jet! Then again, I hate flying and I get stir crazy, so every flight seems twice as long as it really is to me. I once flew from Miami to LA and it took about 6 hours but it felt like a week to me! It's longer when you are going West than when you are going East is all I know... LOL! I hate head winds, that's for sure! Tail winds always better! HAHAH!

Thanks for the link, Jade! I thought older blogs were deleted, as I can't find old blogs on Budapest MySpace, and I think there are some other blogs missing in John MySpace too... I don't know, can't remember very well and maybe "Now I’m twisting all the history, I don’t believe me anymore" I already told him to make a book as well, LOL but no answer about it The only blog I printed was the one before joining James Blunt, oh... I was very happy but a bit sad at the same time while reading it. I knew he would become more well-known, and it was a big opportunity for his career, and of course get soooo many more fans (that's you girls ), but I thought he couldn't write newsletters anymore... Fortunately, I was wrong on that last thing I think I have it still, somewhere between my chaotic papers inside Budapest folder, ROFL!!! ;D (PC still broken - spending my free time in making videos with John music, and some artwork for PC's -desktop wallpapers mainly- with his pictures, ha ha!)

Okay, my Dad was a pilot for TWA until he retired, so I asked him about it. He said, on average, it's about 5 1/2 - 6 hours, or so, if you get a direct flight (good luck) and if everything is just right because there are a lot of variables in the equation including the time of the year because air currents are different depending on the season. Also depending on the time of day, how heavy the air traffic is, then sometimes they have to make a northern arc or something ( I forgot the technical term he used, my memory is shorter this time of day ) And also, as you mentioned, there is always a tail wind when flying from LA to NY so is always faster flying east. And that's just time in the air, not counting time waiting for clearance to take off,..............or land! So basically, no one really knows exactly! ;D Oh and don't forget going through customs and security! Moral of the story: Poor, poor John! I hope you brought snacks.........and a flask!
