As most of you probably know, John joined forces with an incredible array of amazing musicians and singers and layed down the basslines to complete a stunning version of REM's 'Everybody Hurts', which will be released on Feb 7th. Listen out for Mister Garrison on bass, Mister Brazil on drums and Mister Beard on keys. Let's not forget, Mister Blunt's vocals at 1:42 into the song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=08-DuA-cpM0I think it sounds genuinely beautiful and that it is a great song choice for a more than worthy cause. A song that doesn't fail in connecting you to your core emotions. I, for one, had goosebumps all over the place while listening and can't wait to buy a copy (or two). Haiti makes everything trivial - Sooo sad to see all these people stumbling through the debris of their lives.

I meant 2 post yest but 4 some reason the board wasn't kind 2 me and 4bid it. It was rather annoying really!!!!!!!! Just got mine yesterday. It's pretty amazing. Now I close my eyes and I know when it's Mr Blunty's turn & silencing my Beloved Family so I can able 2 hear Johnny boy's Bass lines. Good job that I haven't got the dvd as I can't stop myself crying when I see the footage vid of the disaster. It's says on the cd that NOT LESS THAN £1 FROM THIS SALE OF THIS CD'LL BE DEVIDED EQUALLY BETWEEN DISASTER EMERGENCY COMMITTEE(REG CHARITY NO 1062638) AND THE SUN'S HELPING HAITI FUND, SO IT BEGS THE QUESTION WHERE DOES THE OTHER £2.99 GO? I've also read that the G7 summit voted on to void Haiti's Debts..........so, that's supposed 2 be a good thing, isn't it?

Great Napsi that you got your copy already. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. Hope it won't be long. Hmmm, good question. I thought all proceeds (or at least the better part) were going to benefit the Haiti Fundraising projects. Now it looks I've made a total so and so of myself as the post got posted yest. I must apologize 2 Ms. Beaumont 2 as I was in a hurry taking Annabelle to the doc's and misspelt her Christian name/ Jacqueline. Aww, no need to apologise, Napsi, sometimes I can't even keep up with all my names myself... ;D Miss you, too! ***************************************************** 'Making of' the video and interviews: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJZ3pxo0MYcWish there was a mention of John and the other musicians that layed down the backing track, but that wasn't part of the deal I suppose - "... and then all the celebrities walk in and sing on it and take all the glory" - true . But of course, it's not about competition or publicity, it's all about making an effort and being part of the project. So thumbs up to everyone who helped make this happen.

Thanks for the links, Jade!!!! Nice job, John, Karl, Blunty and all the rest! I love Blunty's sweet, little, raspy, whispery voice! I hope this raises a lot of money for the Haiti effort!
