England, British fashion and the art world suffered a great blow today with the loss of Alexander McQueen, dead at only 40! What a tragic waste of human life! He was a true genius! What a great, natural talent and an incredible artist he was! I have only three pieces of Alexander McQueen: 2 pairs of shoes and one handbag... They are among my most prized possessions! They are works of art worthy of being in The Louvre! His story was so inspirational. How lovely it was that he started out as a tailor on Savile Row to study at Central St. Martins and become one of the world's designers! Utter tragedy!

These are my Alexander McQueen Union Jack boots that I got the heel caught in the slat of the excalator tread of the tube in London when I went to see Blunty! The attention to detail is incredible and they are just so fun! They should be in the Louvre!
