Oh Missy...that's really crappy to email you!
It breaks my heart to think that John is going to be on my home turf and now Missy will too and I can't be there. I usually come back this time of year for my yearly visit but this year I have to stay and focus on my MFT exam...it kills me!
BTW - anyone in Chicago MUST and I mean MUST eat at Portillos!!! Get and Itallian Beef and think of me PLEASE!!!!
Also, the shopping is to die for! Have fun!!! ;D

Ok John...I have announced you gig in Chi town to everyone I know up there. I can't guarantee that any of them will come but I tried!
I'm so sorry I can't be there...it really does break my heart.
I'm not sure how long you'll be in the city but if you get a chance stop by a restaurant called "Portillo's". Everyone is Chicago can point you in their direction - it's amazing food and cheap too! One of Chicago's best! It's a must eat place!

I was there. John got a reaction from the crowd when he mentioned Budapest, so after he played Is This the Best It Gets, he decided to play Save the Day. It was flawless live!

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Clearly John's fans are just as cheery and pleasant as he is!
I've been following John Garrison since the Too Blind to Hear album. As strange as it is to say, it was the song, "Time" that really got me into his music.
Chicago was short, but sweet. Finally get to meet John in person. It was fun to sing along at the end when he played "Is This the Best It Gets"
