U2 announced their new tour and my heart stopped when I heard they are coming to Oklahoma...nobody THAT big ever comes here and now I can't wait. I have always dreamed of seeing them but have never had the opportunity and it looks like after waiting over 20 years (showing my age there...LOL!) I will get to see them October 19th...I just hope I get tickets!!!! WooHoo, fingers crossed for you, kerpea! They'll be doing a show in Berlin on July 18th, tickets will go on sale the day after tomorrow. I'm gonna try to get some and just hope the date won't collide with the schedule of another artist I'm dying to see perform!! That's the luck that main cities have, all important artists go to main cities as London, Berlin, Madrid..., for the concerts You're absolutely right, Lucy. Living in a big city like Berlin does make it a lot easier to attend a gig. Yesterday, I bought tickets to see Razorlight on April, 20th, and Snow Patrol on May, 23rd. And although I'm really looking forward to their gigs, I certainly would have never travelled to another town to catch them.

Hey Flakie - You going to see The Bishops tonight?? If so, have fun and tell us how it was, ok?
Wohl wahr." - Made me think of you, Flakie, as I thought you've been one of those with a banner!?!? ;D ;D

Yes, it is a Monday! Don't you think you could make it, gray?! It's at Huxley's, just around the corner from where I live, would be great if you came with me! Did you see them when you were in the UK recently???

Not sure if I could make it...
I saw Razorlight at Earl's Court in April 2007. I actually wanted to attend The Big Secret, where a few musicians - including Nerina - were to play. This one was cancelled... I had read about Razorlight playing at that time but their myspace said that the gig was sold out. Went there and asked and there were tickets left. The gig was fun, except for that some people thought it to be fun to throw plastic cups with beer around. But gigs are much better in England in general!

Razorlight at Earl's Court sounds fun, except for the 'flying beer cups'!

It was fun! I sooo hoped they would play "Somewhere else" and it was the last song they did... and everyone was singing along, a brilliant end to a brilliant gig!

Nerina is playing a gig in June too... would like to go!! And I would love to know John's tour dates as it would make planning easier. I'd hate to be away at the time he's playing here.

Oh yes, it would be great if John came up with some dates so we could plan our holidays, commitments and dreams around that, wouldn't want to miss a thing this time around!! James Morrison just announced some dates for Germany in July and will be coming to Berlin on July, 16th. I'd be over the moon if he brought along Mister Brazil on drums (wishful thinking I'm afraid..). I'll definitely go and get tickets today!!
