I've just read Travis are coming to Spain next month ;D, but not my city *sigh* Althought I didn't like the major part of their last album, I like only the first half part I must say: "J. Smith", "Something Anything" (one of those songs you can't stop playing), "Long way Down" and "Last Words" lol... But I love the rest of albums they have, Side is one of my 3 total favourites songs (just between Clock Face and They Do ), and people usually say Travis concerts are full of energy, rock and fun... But If I go, I should ask for some free days at the job, ouch... I don't know what to do Does anyone know them? Do you like their music? (I'd put some links for you to hear them but youtube is dead here at the moment...) Any advice about my silly doubts?

While I was watching Bloc Party in blogotheque. I decided to search if James Blunt (I'd prefer it'd be John) had made a session for Blogotheque. I haven'd find anything. But I found this... a girl made a cover of Never far from me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGPPF-ih8mE

Do you have MySpace? They have the whole album on their page. My favorite is "Gives You Hell"...great break up tune...I always love those "I told you so" kind of songs!

Yesterday, I went to see The Script at the Columbia Club here in Berlin and I absolutely didn't regret. I really enjoyed their set, they sounded very good and put on a fantastic show. Especially Danny, the leadsinger, has great stage presence (the up and coming Robbie Williams?! ). They played all their album songs (including my favs "We Cry" and "The Man Who Can't Be Moved") plus an encore of one song on just acoustic and a very special cover of Bowie's "Heroes", which seemed quite fitting since it was Berlin! Oh, and the drummer, Glen Power, had his spot at the very front (!!) of the stage and right in front of me. He did a brilliant job and I decided that in my next life I definitely want to be a drummer as drummers always seem to have the most fun. Since I'm left- handed in all I do, I guess then I'll be a left-handed drummer who plays a right-handed setup... can't wait!! profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=67367116Sadly, I missed Kings Of Leon on Monday. I don't know why they were playing such a small venue (capacity of about 3000), tickets sold out within 2 days. Since the gig took place only a 10-minute walk away from where I live, I tried at the venue to buy a ticket, but no way to get in.

Thanks for the review! Well, I hope you'll have a chance to see Kings of Leon play someday soon... at least living in Berlin makes attending gigs quite easy.

That's the luck that main cities have, all important artists go to main cities as London, Berlin, Madrid..., for the concerts

U2 announced their new tour and my heart stopped when I heard they are coming to Oklahoma...nobody THAT big ever comes here and now I can't wait. I have always dreamed of seeing them but have never had the opportunity and it looks like after waiting over 20 years (showing my age there...LOL!) I will get to see them October 19th...I just hope I get tickets!!!!
