"Closer" - Kings Of Leon... album > Only_By_The_Night > ... a genuinely thrilling record. I think it's their best album yet, but of course YMMV. Oh, and I've had it all... hidden tracks, hidden song-meanings... never had hidden lyrics though... white letters on white paper are great, if a little hard to read... PS: "Caleb recently smashed his beloved 1972 Gibson ES-325 after sound problems at T in the Park on 10th July 2009" - Oh come on, say it ain't so, such a shame...

never had hidden lyrics though... white letters on white paper are great, if a little hard to read... I love hidden songs, Robbie Williams used to put one or two at the end of his records, and not only songs, sometimes a poem, sometimes a joke... And Travis did the same you told, the album 12 memories has 11 tracks, and the lyrics for the 12th are black over black, ha ha! I was thinking about it when John talked about Lost as hidden track... Now listening Footprints looking for knees sounds....

I've got quite a few albums where something is hidden (e.g. by David Gray, Damien Rice, Green Day, Phil Collins etc.) My favorite hidden track of all hidden tracks is quite possibly "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional, hidden in the pregap of the "Dusk And Summer" album. Hey Lucy, did you hear the 'knees'-sound in Footprints?

Church's bells calling people to Sunday's mass Nice! I love church bells! I'm Episcopalian and so I have always wondered why Catholics call it "Mass." Anyone know? Listening to James Blunt- "Freedom" and "Dancing Days." I don't know why he's never released them but I think he should. They are stunners!
