Yes! HAPPY THANKSGIVING, Everyone! No turkey for me this year... The folks came down to the beach to see me instead and we're having a shrimp boil, screw drivers and watching "Tommy Boy!" "Fat guy in a litte coat!" CLASSIC! Hope y'all have a GREAT day too!

Erm I am visiting a friend who's doing a kind of gap year here... as there will be strikes in university next week we don't really have to attend uni, which is why I'll go back Tuesday afternoon. And I can't speak English anymore as everyone's English here is rubbish and I start to talk like them... grammar rules don't exist here!

LOL! Sorry if I was being nosy! Didn't mean to be. I don't think English grammar rules exist in here The States, either. Hahahahahaha! Hope you are having fun! I have never been there. Stay warm... I bet it's FREEZING cold there now! BTW, is it a teacher strike or student strike? They have had student strikes to stop tuition hikes at Universities all across California, recently. www.solidarity-us.org/node/2522

Thanks you two! Yes, it is rather cold here. But no snow as yet! And it is a student strike... but some teachers do approve of it.

HI ;D
I can't really believe I've made it on here.... woah... I'm so sorry girls for not being online much these days but life keeps me well busy... as does university and christmas especially those lovely christmas markets with loads of mulled wine ;D I love this time of the year ;D now the only thing missing is SNOW... i.want.snow.!
I don't really have the time to read through all the topics... but I can tell you're all nuts... always writing so much ;D
So, who will make it to John's London gig in two (?) weeks? I won't... no money at all... even had to ask my parents for money in order to be able to buy them something LOL not that I did...
I just can't think of ANYTHING to get my dad... anyone else having that problem? EVERY year it's the same: I never know what to get him. He doesn't really listen to music, he isn't reading books, we have so much wine at home that something like that isn't an option either... any ideas?

Most men are hard to buy gifts for...and father's are that much harder. I am not sure if they have gift cards over there but those are always a great option. When I used to buy for my parents I'd get a gift card or gift certificate from their favorite restaurant so next time they went out to eat it was one me.
