WOW, thank you, loraline, for your detailed and fantastic review. Glad you had such a wonderful time. Got back from the show in Leipzig today early morning, not much sleep but sooo worth it!!! The show was absolutely breathtaking and the crowd were really into it! James and the boys get better and better - if that's at all possible. They're all just brilliant musicians and so very, very passionate. James' stage presence and energy is unbelievable!! I so remember when I saw him for the first time back in 2006, playing a rather tiny venue here in Berlin. He seemed so shy and a little lost up on the stage, standing there with the guitar, hardly making a move. That was cute in its own way, but those days have long gone - by now he's quite the entertainer, putting on an amazing show, born to perform I'd say!! Though there's one thing that still remains: It's real music made by real musicians and that's what it's all about and why I'm loving it so much and always will be. It was great to meet Flakie, gray and her family and many others after the show. What I found to be really amusing: When Flakie, gray and I were waiting by the tourbus a security guy came over and suggested to leave as he thought Mister Blunt wasn't very likely to come out, to which Flakie replied: "Oh, we're NOT waiting for James Blunt!", lol... that really confused the poor guy and his facial expression was priceless *giggle*. Shortly after this James was the first to come out, asking if anyone wanted him to sign something, and us 'Garrison addicts' were like "Ooops, do we, by any chance, have anything that James could possibly sign??" Since I had left my B2B Vinyl in the car, I had only the cover of the 'CYH' vinyl, which he kindly signed.  After James had left, out walked Karl and John!! That's actually when the 'hype' began ;D ;D Oh, and they were sooo sweet and patient, tirelessly signing stuff and posing for pictures. THANXXXXX!!! In case you're wondering.... No, they didn't get married in Leipzig... I guess mainly because Karl got already married in Sydney  ;D |

That's cool that you met James...I saw on the JB board that there was a hug between Flakie & James...how cool!
I am just curious...are you two getting any sleep. I saw on Flakies blog the pictures of the buses...they should just let you two in just to warm up and take a nap ;D Too bad they won't do that.

met John twice!! He was sooooooo kind and answered our questions and I got to hold his drink again (Jack Daniels and Coke). He asked us to stay in touch (of course we will!) and said he hopes he will see us when he plays solo gigs. Got a hug too!!!!!

I just came back from Stuttgart!!! met him four times and he was so kind! I got a bug hug in Oberhausen when I said hi and one in Nuremberg He made it all so special. And I think he liked the talking bottle opener because he used to have one but it broke ;D Roll on Vienna woo hoo!!! xxxxx |
