We are on the home stretch though. Are we there yet?? I know I'm being a pain in the neck, but it's been a little quiet lately, and the wait is killing me. Anything new???... Pretty please... Thank you!

Yeah mastering happened yesterday / today. We are just comparing it to our favorite albums and double checking that all the Ts are crossed and Is are dotted etc. Won't be long now.
Ended up remixing the opening track which is what the holdup was. So we're debating between the original and a new one. Both amazing just slightly different.
We've got the order down and everything is coming along. John's gotta do all the art etc but it's the home stretch. I think he's trying to push to release it at the show in July.

You insist on being asked before you're telling us, don't you? THANK YOU sooo much for letting us know, if there weren't your updates, the wait would be unbearable. Order down, mastering done, everything coming along... that's fantastic news that'll keep me alive for the next month or so. GREAT things in the works I'm sure!! All the best J. xx

I play drums, and I do a lot of sequencing and programming.
How did you know I played Air Guitar?

I play drums, and I do a lot of sequencing and programming. Doesn't surprise me at all as you seem to have a pretty good ear on beats and a feel for music. If I said I was familiar with sequencing and programming, that would be a lie. I've only a vague idea what it could be about. Though I imagine it's an intriguing field of activity that brings a whole new dimension to making music. Maybe at times not valued as much as it shoud be, and probably something one can easily get lost in (in a positive way). How did you know I played Air Guitar? I didn't know, was just a guess. You look like a wild boy... and they all do... when no-one is watching...

I was just watching the making of "Departures" (and really loved it . Is it normal that the buttons on a mixing desk move in such mysterious ways? I have heard of invisible users, never heard of invisible sound-engineers though! Do you have any other superhuman powers?

Do you have any other superhuman powers? no superhuman powers, but the faders record movements based on touch. so they were moving along with the music in the spots where i had made volume moves or cuts.

Thank you for always being so gentle with me and never using the rolls-eyes-smiley when answering all my sooo not-professional questions. I'm sure, with your help it comes the day that even I can tell a knob from a button and a button from a fader. I'm working on it.

i don't use emoticons in general. there's no dumb questions. alot of times the gear looks weird or odd because a lot of it is very old. we tend to gravitate to the classic pieces from the 60/70s. thats the gear that gives me and johnny's favorite albums their sounds. so we try to use the same stuff when we can.
