It's ok to admit it: John is a sexy beast! He might even appreciate hearing it from someone besides his girlfriend!! Right?! ;D John, does this sort of 'chatter from the hen house' embarass you? If so, just say so, because I wouldn't want to offend anyone! I have already deleated a couple of posts because I was afraid they were too.........risque or cheeky or.......something! Not at all. It's good for an aging ego....

I am curious as to what your story is behind "Clock Face"? I've been listening to it quite a bit lately and I just wondered what was going on that lead to this masterpiece? Why thank you. It is one of my favourites too. It is basically about how society says you should be doing certain things by a certain age eg. 27 =good career and settling down, 30=children and weddings, 35 = live in a semi detached house with 2.4 kids, a cat and a ford Mondeo...etc etc....... and how this felt totally wrong with me. I still had this burning dream to make my own music that wasn't sold out to the music industry, and so I "turn the clock to face against the wall" so I have no idea what time, date, year it is and therefore how old I am. Hope that makes sense. It makes more sense as you get older. Trust me...!!!! That is EXACTLY how I took it...I LOVE IT! Being that I am a thirtysomething that still feels like she has a lot left to accomplish in life....I GET IT! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!!!! ;D So...according to your Twitter feed today you say you are a business and are selling shares. What is your current stock price? And, are you going to be traded on a public market or just stay a private entity? If you are traded on a public market which one would you prefer...NYSE (more for really big corporations) NASDAQ (more tech related...and I don't see you as a techie)...or you could just be traded on the London Stock Exchange...you wouldn't even have to leave home...I guess it doesn't matter I could still buy you either way...LOL...JK! ;D Fascinating thought, though! I'd buy some of you to add to my growing portfolio...I'd value your shares as a good investment with an exponential growth factor. (BTW...I went to school to be a stock broker thus my Bachelors degree in Finance...I tend to ramble on when it comes to this kind of stuff...Please forgive me! ) ............ OK...I am not a business man so all that flew over my head. I was advised to become a business by my accountant. I now own and run "Garrison Music Ltd" but have no idea what I am doing...!!! ha ha ha Well, it's too bad we don't know each other cause I am quite a savy international business lady that would LOVE to give you some pointers...I may not be in the music business...but business is business, it's all about that almighty dollar and maximum exposure...but unfortunately there is a geographical barrier there ...and the fact that you really don't know me and vice versa ...though feel free to ask if you need a second opinion

"dancing around the room for no reason" sounds good to me Would love to see that! Asking "How are you?" is probably unnecessary today...

If I were to delete anything cheeky (or cheesy for that matter), that would be a bit of a task (hardly 200 posts left I'm afraid). I certainly never meant to offend anyone, and if I did I can only apologize to Mr Garrison, Mr Shane, and any of their ex-, current- & future-girlfriends. And since I'm at it, I take back the "sexy sound-engineer"..... and make that "sexy producer and sound-engineer"..

Questions:
Did it ever happen that an entire song just seemed to exist in your head, without you having to actually write it? Working on Album 3?? I was always wondering about the heavenly female voice at the beginning of "Say Something Wonderful". Is this a part of an aria, sung by one of your sisters? Still not entirely sure if it's you drumming for the Broken Dolls (esp. as for "What The Hell"). So, does their self-titled 2007 album feature you on drums? Do you like links courses? Thank you!

Being that I am a thirtysomething that still feels like she has a lot left to accomplish in life....I GET IT! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!!!! ;D YES!! So do I, Kerpea!! At my high school reunion, the only thing people asked was whether I am married... Then when I said that i am not, they gave me the pity look and said things like, "Oh, it will happen." Meanwhile, I was thinking, "You could ask me about my architectural work... And GLAD I'm not married to any of these jokers!" Guess that's why I love that song so much. It just speaks to me. Thanks, John! When and how do you realize you want to become a songwriter? was there any artist on your family? which was the first song you wrote? how old were you then? I was singing before I could speak. I was writing before I could read All my family are musicians. But all in the classical field "The Caterpillar Song". I wrote when I was 2 years old on the piano. Aw! Sweet! Is there video of you performing this when you were little? If so, is there any chance of you uploading it on your YouTube page? Speaking of the classical field, have you ever considered going into it? "Ongoing" is quite lovely so far; could it possibly be a small part of a larger work? I think it would make a very pretty ballet. I love the strings on the beginning! They remind me a little of Barber's "Adagio for the strings." Was that at all an inspiration for that piece?

When did you work with Gary Barlow? How was it? I'd love to know a bit more about this, please "And shut the door behind, I can’t go back With bags on the ground, tell me" "I keep shut my eyes in denial. Trying to find my way back home" "Step off but we are still moving, step off but I cannot slow it down" "And I’m a million miles away and I’m 5 hours behind But it feels like the right time"... So many sentences and words inside the album (the part of the album we already know) are related to movement, is that why the album it's called Departures? Moving from a city to another on James Blunt tour has something to do with that? I hope next question won't get you angry Why did you change Lost? Didn't you like how it was as demo? Did you think it wouldn't fit on the album?

How do you feel before a concert? Have you ever lost your voice before a concert? Who's the person that writes the setlist, you or another one? Do you have in mind a song that you always liked to play in a concert and you never did (for the moment)? Which one?

WOW! She's very pretty! Does she have a name? What model is she and does she have a cool story like Lucille? She looks like a '57 Gibson, maybe??? I don't know much about guitars, so sorry about the silly question. She has a beautiful shape, color and (most importantly) sound! BTW, did you purposely match your scarf to her? (Giggles like little girl)
