Thank You very much, yes since i heard about him, i started reading things about him before he starts this work with James  yes Budapest i know the songs, I'm feeling a bit weird because i'm new here and i just would like to talk to you guys because it is so hard to find people that like his work, you know?! i listen to his songs and everybody is like ' who is he?!' and i get like ohhh so upset nice to see you here doing all this work Don't worry i will be always here with you all love it nice , I'm just a bit lost because I dont know how to use it ! :S I dont know how to put my profile pic and all that  Jade, Nab1973, you all, I'm so glad that this man exists he is so kind, i met him in Brazil and i thought he would be cold but no he was so cool!!!! i asked for a picture and he left everything he was doing and took the picture with me, god such a nice man! and Thank you All for having me on this site, I'm really glad! you seem to be really cool ! |

Hi Karine, A very warm welcome to the boards from me too, and thank you very much indeed for introducing yourself.  I saw the beautiful picture and the kind message you posted on John's Facebook page the other day and I'm just glad you found your way to this message board and registered. Hope you'll stop by often and that we get to talk a lot about John and his phenomenal music. I can perfectly relate to your words about John being so friendly towards his fans and about his amazing yet so terribly underrated musical work. I wish more people knew his songs; both, the man and the music really really deserved it. Same as you, I would most likely never have known about Mister Garrison without him playing bass in Blunty's band. So, thank you James! I fell in love with John's music four years ago and am still hopelessly devoted (actually, more than ever). I won't even start to imagine life without his songs, they're such a big part of my life and I truly couldn't live without them. I'm happy about everyone who appreciates John's work and it's great to read your lovely words, Karine. Your excitement really is contagious. Hey everybody I'm new here and I'm so lost! While there might be other ways to do it, this is how I set my Avatar: - Upload the picture of choice to your photobucket, then copy the direct link (or, in case you don't have a photobucket account, I've sent you a link via PM which you can use alternatively, if that's the pic you wanted to make your avatar)
- Log in to this board, go to your profile page, click Modify profile (leave blank where it says Password).
- Copy the link (see above) into the form where it says Avatar URL
- Fill in 100 where it says Avatar Width and 90 as Avatar Height and click Modify Profile
on the left at the bottom of the page.
As a result, your avatar should appaer (It would be a shame if it didn't as it's such a BEAUTIFUL picture) . Hope this helps and hope it works. Much love and speak soon Jade x |

Thank You so much Jade, that was really cool thank you for helping and nice to meet you and now I know I have you guys here to talk about John nice nice nice I was telling my boyfriend about it so cool!! I like to listen to John's songs Jade and they have a meaning you know..I'm from Brazil and my boyfriend is from England, and he is leaving everything in the UK now to live with me in Brazil we've been together for 3 years and 5 months and we miss each other so much, the first time i saw John was because of my boyfriend that took me to watch James Blunt and oh John's songs are so beatiful and everytime i talk to my boyfriend on skype and he is doing something important,etc i listen to John's songs and start singing and he is like' oh James, John' hah and im like' yeaaa fantastic i know" hah but Now I'll be here when I can, as I study International Relation I'm busy doing work but when i have the time i promise i'll be here !!! |

He-he Jadie, Do you think I !!!!! SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER ATTEMPT 2 AS I STILL HAVEN'T TRANSFERRED THE VERY BEAUTIFUL PICT YOU'VE TAKES OF JOHNNY AND I ! I try to catch up with these modern technologies only to avoid being a laughing stock - by then 3.5 yr old younger daughter and now my older one who's entering the dreaded kingdom of the teenagers pretty soon. Those looks I cld really do without. Well I've bettered myself since and done 14 I.T. exams at my local college last year, so I've gained some more respect from my family and hope some extra technical skills 2. Your picture is really beautiful Karine with John!

Hey Karine, I assure you that long distance relationships Can work! I met my husband in 1991 when I was 18! in Germany- Munich and he was there on his 3rd Year Uni sandwich course. I worked in Munich too and we met on the German language course. Then we lived together for 6 Months in Germany, got Engaged, had a very fantastic Summer 2gether and moved back to Hungary (that's where I'm originally from). Despite the gigantic phone bills and overpriced flight tickets we managed 2 meet every 3 Months. I remember that I was soooo excited be4 all the trips when I got him from the airport and gutted when I had to take him back and put him on the return flight. It felt like my heart was ripped out through my mouth and I (WE) got left with Nothing!...... Well as living proof, we're still together after all this time, good and bad times and 2 beautiful girls ( 12.5 yrs old Annabelle and 8 Yrs old Isabelle) later. Life Is 2 short, so make the most of your life. I used to go to work, aerobics classes, swimming, spent a lot of time in my family and friend's companion- who'd taken a lot of tears from me and they've given their shoulders to cry on so that's kept my sleepness nights to a minimum. U're sooo lucky with this modern technology...ie..: SKYPE, E-MAILS .................ect. So make gr8 use of them. The time you've spent apart 'll have its ups and downs which you've got to muddle through together! Best of Luck Karine. Until then keep listening more and more of Johnny's music, esp the melancholic ones as they're like balm, you rub it on2 your heart and the pain vanishes- i.e. Never far from me, Happy Hour, 2nd for the 1st time, Alexander and Annabelle, Cold Coffee, Close and the list is Endless! And when Johnny leaves aft a gig u just feel a big empty space till he resurfaces. That's why us Garriboardies try to keep each other going till our next fix from Johnny. Just can't get enough of him. He'd become a massive part of my our daily life! Isabelle's my little one is screaming all John's songs from the top of her voice! I've taken my family to 1 of his gig's and it was an experience of a lifetime 4 all of us, 1st of many gigs together! It's pretty Addictive!- I BETTER WARN YOU ABOUT IT !

Aww so cute, you made me feel better really, i was so sad, god this is so horrible being apart, but i know we will be together soon, he is moving to Brazil now to be with me and so nice because i miss him so much, im tired of this internet every single day (i mean talking to him on internet) and a lot of people say ' it will never work' but i just dont listen to them anymore! i know our love is real and i really love him! and so beautiful your story!! im so happy for you when im sad i listen to john and i love his voice! but i always cry listening to some of the songs but it makes me feel better! really! my dream is to go to his own show, I always go to James' concerts when he is in Brazil or when im in the UK, but i would like to go to John's one but everytimes i look for it he is with James on tour , I keep watching his videos on youtube and just yesterday i bought his second album to give to my sister in law, because she didnt know who John was! and i got like' OHHHH GOD YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO HIM' but it is sooo hard to buy it in Brazil!!! i bought it online on amazon but it will take 1 month to get to the uk, because i bought from another company people that had his cds because they didn't have it on amazon, just other people selling it second hand ,etc, but how can someone sell ittt second handdd, the cd is sooo perfect! so it is coming from the US the cd and now she needs to wait my cd i bought on amazon as well and it took 30 a few days because they had it in the UK, but i will try to show his work here in Brazil, as fans i think we need to do it, because he deserves it! he works so hard! and i know he loves to be with James bu sometimes i wanted him to be a well-known singer, he is famous just as the man that plays for James Blunt! and sometimes the people see him on the streets and dont know how he is. Ok I talk too much, im so sorry and nice talking to you all on here, so nice, im happy i found you hugs from Brazil and if one day eveyrbody can, visit Brazil, it is a beautiful place and it is not like the tv shows to the rest of the world!!!! realllyy!! and Brazil is not just Rio de Janeiro  ok haha i'll stop ''trying'' to sell my country" hugs to everyone and oh Napsi the culture of your country is amazing!! i had a friend from Hungary and she gave me one coin really cool and one day if it is possible one day i think we could in the UK go everybody together to watch John and make him a surprise like the people in Brazil did to James, I'm sure we'd love it! here in Brazil when James was singing ' BILLY' everybody had a paper with ' OH BILLY' god that was just fantastic! he loved that, imagine doing something small but cool to John ok now im going!!! thanks for having me here, talking like mad! sorryyy!! have a great weekend you all |
