Oh! Gray! I’m so sorry for your cat  , I hope everything goes well for her. I’ve had a lot of pets in my life, many of them got ill and even died and I know how terrible it is…playing with pets is the most fun one can possibly have and I hope you will always have it. I think you should treat her as if she were healthy young little kitten – it must help her get well. Sometimes our pets can even become our best friends. It’s not true that animals don’t have souls.  In the past few years 5 of my pets have died (3 cats and 2 dogs) every time it happened I was not near or paid them little attention… just be with your cat and she will be Ok. So sorry for your loss. I once had to do the same for one of my cats.............. it's hard but, try to take comfort in the fact that she's not suffering anymore.

Thanks everyone... yes, it is probably better that way. She was actually feeling better yesterday but then her state got worse in the evening... I will always remember her.

Gray, any time a pet dies, I always thing of my favorite Cosby Show episode where Rudy had a funeral for her goldfish. Do you get reruns of Cosby Show in Spain? If so, you should try to see that one. It's so cute. It's amazing how pets really do become members of the family. When I was a kid, for 12 yers, my family had a cat named Addison after the character in the 80s show Moonlighitng with Bruce Willis.... You probably didn't get that show... Anyway, when he died, it was really traumatic for everyone. So I'm really sorry for your loss!

My guinea pig passed away last night... so I don't have any pets now.
