quote] A traineeship plus the opportunity to leave Germany for a while sounds good. Can you go to anywhere you want? I did it the same way, going straight to University after I had finished school, and still regret not having done some extensive traveling/working abroad in between. You'll never really do again once you have a proper job... at least I didn't. I think we talked about that on our way to London, didn't we? Well, as I have to do at least half a year abroad + can do the traineeship (up to half a year) abroad, I'd like to go to the States and the UK... though some people say I should do the traineeship in Spain. Shall think about where to go and what to do during holidays. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- listening to Mozart's Menuett KV 2 F-Dur

That's why I was a bit surprised that you mentioned France now. Best of luck with your exams and the trainee-ship. Spain sounds nice, maybe you could pay Lucy a visit once you're there. Listening to The Cure right now - "Lullaby" ... great song, never gets old...

Sorry girls, I've been off for a long time but I'm not in a very good mood to share words ... I'll be back soon ... I hope ... Anyway, I'm just passing by to give you the link to download a very beautiful music that I discovered thanks to Lucy and a game she shared with us. As I was quite obssessed by the music of the game, I've finally found it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQe19WaAdEwYou have a link in the upper right window to download the track. I can't stop listening to it ...

Sorry girls, I've been off for a long time but I'm not in a very good mood to share words ... I'll be back soon ... I hope .. Thanks for the link, Kitine, it's lovely. Great you said 'Hi'. Hope you'll be back soon. Sending you some good Karma in the meantime and many, many hugs. ***************************************************** Listening to "Closer" - Kings Of Leon right now ... sooooo great that they won 3 awards at the Grammys, well deserved. Too bad they didn't get to perform, though. Has anyone watched the Grammy Awards (well, I did, 2:00am-5:00am Monday night on German telly )? That was quite a show, at times a bit too much light and bluff for my liking. Plus for some reason I can't stand Taylor Swift, her music just doesn't speak to me. My favorite quote of the night by Stephen Colbert: "Justin Timberlake may have brought the sexy back, but this year, Susan Boyle sent it away again. Goodbye sexy!", ROFL. As for the missing sexy bit, that didn't apply to P!NK though. I thought her performance was rather spectacular and I was like 'okay, if you're not P!NK and you still want to get something going as a performer this year, it appears your life is officially over' - Truth be told, I still prefer those that need nothing more than their voice and a guitar or piano to get the message across. Old-fashioned I know. *************************************************** Hitting the slopes on Thursday, so I won't be online for a couple of days. Unfortunately, not Colorado and not for long, can't wait anyway. Have a good time everyone.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6t78OW-yhMI can't stop watching DMB from the Grammys!! THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE DOWN!!!! I think LeRoi Moore was there in spirit! My favorite part is when they break it down at 3:10-4:05 and Dave does his patented little dance! The song is so uplifting and it's so great with all of those strings! I also love how Boyd stops playing and lets the guest violin players do their thing... Classy! Stefan Lessard is just all cool on that bass! Carter... INCREDIBLE drummer! Dave's voice is so lovely and sexy too. OK, I have to admit, I still have a bit of a crush on Dave after all these years! He looks so cute all dressed up in his tie!

Can't wait!!! ******************************************** Kinda stuck on Michael Bublé's "Hold On" at the moment which I heard for the first time on radio two days ago and fell in love with immediately. Wishing you the best of luck for your plans (new job and all!). Thanks Jade!!! Ah, working abroad seems to be a very nice experience! I have never been to Angoulême, but I do like France in general. By now I regret not having done that after school instead of going straight to university. I will have to do a traineeship at some point though, I just have not decided what and where. A traineeship plus the opportunity to leave Germany for a while sounds good. Can you go to anywhere you want? I did it the same way, going straight to University after I had finished school, and still regret not having done some extensive traveling/working abroad in between. You'll never really do again once you have a proper job... at least I didn't. That was meant to be my way too LOL so I don't have any regret about leaving university ;D Despite what people said when I took the decission... I think we talked about that on our way to London, didn't we? Well, as I have to do at least half a year abroad + can do the traineeship (up to half a year) abroad, I'd like to go to the States and the UK... though some people say I should do the traineeship in Spain. Yes, I support that ;D ;D ;D Listening to The Cure right now - "Lullaby" ... great song, never gets old... Crowded House - "Don't Dream It's Over" Did I ever say how I love your taste in music? LOL Sorry girls, I've been off for a long time but I'm not in a very good mood to share words ... I'll be back soon ... I hope ... I can't stop listening to it ... Thanks for that Kitine! I loved the video too, what can I say? It's manga! I love it! I'm a fan of Death Note! (first pic on the vid). Hope you feel better now, or if it's not, soon, I really hope so *loads of hugs* Although I've been a bit out of Internet world lately (I think I forgot some of my passwords LOL), there has been no day without John's great music, but must admit that I've got the blues, thinking about Budapest days and how many things I lost. If I only had known them before.... But anyway, Departures is my new muse, I've got a lot of new ideas, I wonder if they will see the light someday.... (PS: I think this is my most quoted post ROFL!)

LOL Assuming you are serious (despite the LOL and the smiley), thanks, Lucy. I think your taste in music isn't bad either. Oh well, my taste in music... widely eclectic... some would probably say "a weird crossover" . There's a lot of space between Bublé and Reznor... far more than those 16 letters in the alphabet!! Although I've been a bit out of Internet world lately (I think I forgot some of my passwords LOL), there has been no day without John's great music, but must admit that I've got the blues, thinking about Budapest days and how many things I lost. If I only had known them before.... I've been a bit out of cyberworld too lately (had to encounter some serious problems due to a nasty virus/worm or whatever they call it. Rien ne va plus - the whole system refused to compute.. not quite so funny ) But same here, no day without John's great music!!

So serious I love those two songs, indeed. My music collection has different styles too, from poppy songs to dance, classic, electric... But I must admit that the 80% is brit indie pop, and the most listened. And today it's raining, the sky is grey, so I feel like listening Real Late Starter
